Red Lion Inn & Suites Seaside

Hotel is old and run-down. The area are the hotel is not the best. There are long-term people living there that are not the best people

Went for a family mental health vacation and knew there’s was no pool or breakfast so we came prepared. Has lots of space for big family and jetted bath tub.

Everything was good

Service was ok. Cleanliness could be better. Beds were not comfortable, stiff & No comforter..

The staff is amazing. When we had a problem, they took care of it. The manager/owner was very nice and sincere when we told her of the problem. The room was nice, cozy, and clean.

It was clean, but due to COVID-19 the rooms not cleaned daily, breakfast was grab and go and was ok, I like cereal but not a surprise one, would have liked to choose own. I also asked for a plunger, they said would be right up and never showed, good job clogged toilet decided to go down after a few dozen flushes otherwise could have been bad! I think that everything was effected by the current times however this may be the new normal and they should probably step up and adjust because I don’t know about anyone else’s family of 4 but mine and one small garage can is not fun with 3 days and no garbage cans to at least move to outside of room. The staff we did see were nice , however as a non smoker person they should have been more diligent in keep smoking patrons from smoking just off the stairs where you have to walk to get to your cars. Maybe designate a place far away from accesses into the motel. Also if you going to call it a room with a kitchen may you should have a bigger fridge, coffee pot or somewhere to actually prepare meals , I use a microwave but it is difficult to make dinner with one or use a hot plate with nothing to cook with.

Just another old hotel that needs a lot of work ! Dirty needs paint no phone in the room just terrible

Price was good for the area, Location was pretty good. A little too far for walking distance to downtown and the beach, but a quick drive. Front desk staff. were friendly and helpful. Room was just okay, didn’t feel super clean, kind of run-down, beds weren’t super comfortable but livable. The to-go breakfast was pretty good. Bummer that the pool/hot tub were closed due to Covid.

It wasn’t a bad place to stay. We have stayed at other Red Lions that were much nicer. The bed was pretty comfortable and the room was very large, which was positive. There were a lot of lamps in the room - most of them not working - and it felt cluttered. A lot of paint missing from the walls. Just needed some updates. It was also fairly noisy. Kind staff and a pretty close walk to downtown Seaside.

The room was comfortable and inviting. However, the bathroom smelled strongly of urine. We chose a room with kitchenette, however, it had nothing for us to use. We would have had to bring everything just to make something with the burners. When I called to reserve the room staff did not share that they had no amenities for their kitchenette. And the motor in the AC unit was dying so it kept waking us through out the night.
