Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Denver - Thornton

The hot tub was cold, the room was not clean and was quite outdated with spots on the carpet. Very outdated. The internet pictures were not realistic of the condition the hotel here in Thorton. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom and wallpaper is peeling from walls and paint is bubbling on ceiling. Needs a lot of work.

Hotel was clean, the bed was comfy, but the bathroom is super tiny with no place to even hang your towels. They have a small coffee brewer in the room, but no coffee on site except for that. They recommended Starbucks next door, but not what I want to do as soon as I get up. The hotel needs an update, and better accommodations.

For a Double Tree i expected better housekeeping. I enter room and it seems clean. I'm impressed they put a plastic protective sleeve over the remote thinking to myself, "nice they are covid standard clean". Then as i unpack i notice beer bottle caps underneath the table and in the corner. So i look around a little closer and all sorts of filth is visible. Dust and grime build up. My son and i went to pool there was ants from food that was left behind. Also i noticed staff was not enforcing patrons to wear mask.

I would give this hotel 2 stars. Rooms are very outdated and the receptionist wasn’t friendly. Not what I expected for a 4 stars rated hotel.

Would be nice if the hotel opened the on-site restaurant. There are several restaurants nearby but would be much more convenient if the on-site restaurant was open.

It was as expected. They provided a room, I paid for it.

The pool was dirty, like really dirty we saw what appeared to be black mold all over the hot tub

Well let’s start with this, I found out there is no cameras in parking lot after the cops got called cause there were two guys looking in my car! The lady at the front desk was awesome in helping me out! Well night two didn’t get any better cause cops were at the hotel several times and then to top it off my room that I paid for had a back up sewage problem, told a different lady at front desk and was told this happens! Night three I knew I should have left with my kid but well were one more night.. it will get better! It did not!!! I was woken up with the sewage smell again!! I thought the tub was the problem! It wasn’t! Again I went down to tell the check-in person and was told this.. it’s a old hotel!! I will not be coming back this has been the worst Hilton hotel I have ever stayed at! I will be reconsidering Hilton after this experience.

Very clean, I have used the pool, hot tub, and laundry facilities and all are always working and clean. The staff is always friendly. I have stayed here several times and this is my hotel of choice whenever I'm in town. Also, lots of places to eat within walking distance. I have always had a very pleasant stay.
