Rodeway Inn Willamette River

At least the room was reasonably priced. Check in was fine but the minute we entered the hallway it reeked of pot. Then we almost had to break down the door to get in the hotel room because the door knob lifted up to open the door rather than the traditional down. The hot and cold water was reversed on the bathroom sink. The shower temperature went from scalding to cold with change in water pressure. Carpet was dirty and AC unit looked like it was from the 70s, filled with grimy lint... thank goodness it was winter and we didn’t have to use it. Area was sketchy. Aside from that the stay was nice

This room was not cleaned the only thing clean was the bedding Grabage can had food in it looked like it had not been wiped in years the drawers and table tops were sticky and discusseing the room had to be cleaned before we could bring our things in we cleaned our own room and the desk clerk charged us a deposit of 175 and then when we were checking out wanted to look at the room before he gave us our deposit back the room was cleaner now then before we checked in I told him he said there was nothing he could do about this matter

Lack of security, dirty carpets and bed linens, other guests partying until after midnight

I only checked into the hotel because it was over 100 degrees and I don't have air conditioning. The air conditioning worked great, it was quiet, and fullfilled my needs. Most of all the price was right!

The clerk was not at all friendly nor did he make me feel welcome, and it appears some guests are long term residents. The clerk was somewhat defensive when I asked why he needed my credit card number since I had prepaid for the room, saying the "system" needs it. I asked for clarification and he explained. I have an issue with the fact that this hotel now has my credit card number in their database. Everything seemed clean enough, but very dated and old shower/tub had small spots of mold. Close enough to walk to restaurants but I was concerned due to the type of people hanging around nearby. Door has deadbolt locking.

Room was not as clean as I expected. The bed spread was stained but the sheets were clean. We ended up staying for six nights. One day house keeping did not even visit our room, no new supplies, bed not made, etc.

Surly check-in person. Toilet stopped up--required plunger. Air conditioning was inadequate--took hours to cool down. Refrigerator was not on--had to unplug it and plug it in again; then the frig barely became cool over night.

Bed was pretty comfortable, and the room was accessible

The rooms are very run down. The chain latch on the door was broken off so we couldn’t lock it, instead of painting chips on desks and walls it looked like they used finger nail polish. The parking lot had lots of homeless people which was pretty scary. This place is not well melts or maintained! Even the heater only had 1 setting blasting hot or off.

We wanted to have a coffee maker in the room. This is the first place we've stayed that didn't have one
