Homewood Suites by Hilton Seattle-Tacoma Airport/Tukwila

Tommy wasn’t ready and it was 4 pm had to wait in lobby for about an hour to get a room

The room was really large and relatively clean. However during COVID there were no cleaning crew to clean rooms daily. Also there is a bug infestation in the hotel. Bugs were everywhere due to lack of cleanliness. To go breakfast was ok. Plenty of parking.

The place looked liked the pictures. There was the lack of trash receptacles, I was advised there was one outside of my building yet I was unable to find it. also on my last night I seen what appeared to be a Roach! In the kitchen drawer! So idk if I would stay again

My reservation was canceled due to "NSF" in my cc which I had used to book my reservation, but actually, I just forgot to unlock my cc a day before our trip so this happened (lesson leanred). A nice customer care representative was kind enough to handle the situation and managed to contact Homewood Suites to have the booking be reinstated and it was which is very great. However, upon checking in the hotel, I was told that I have a different room reservation. Apparently, whoever the hotels.com customer care spoke with at Homewood Suites changed our room preference which I initially booked, from 2 queen bed and 1 double sofa bed to 1 King bed and 1 double sofa bed. It was such a big trouble especially having driven for more than 12 hours (came from California State) already and all we wanted was to have a decent rest and shower before we start exploring the city. I was very grateful however to the hotel manager for adjusting our total reservation cost due to what had happened. Overall, the hotel was very nice. It's conveiniently located close to the mall (Southcenter Mall I believe), resatuarants, grocery stores and the freeway.

This location reminded me of an apartment complex. We arrived around 9p and the one person at the front desk was efficient and helpful in checking in the line. The map to our room was very helpful as the entrances to our building was not very conspicuous. The room was sealed with a clean sticker on the door highlighting their partnership with Lysol. A good touch for covid times. The room was clean and great value with the separate kitchen and living room from the bedroom. The only issues were weird stains in the bathtub and the dining table had some damage that looked like either the charging station was once screwed down but then forced out or there was a hole in the table that had water and it swelled the particle board it is made out of. Oh and I called the next morning asking for a late checkout however the guest services person seemed annoyed and said it depends on housekeeping’s quota. After a pause because I was waiting for her to explain what that meant because I have no idea what their quota is she said she would have to check with them and call me back. She called back within a few minutes and let me know they met their quota so I would have to check out at the normal time. My only recommendation for that interaction is to be more clear in communicating and avoid their internal jargon. Overall I would stay there again for their location as it’s easy to freeways and airport with comfortable accommodations.

Loved the hotel and the staff was really attentive!

Homewood Suites Tukwila was very close to many amenities. The room was clean and guest services was helpful. The clientele for families was a bit questionable, smoking seemed to occur in many public areas including the distinct smell filling the hallways of the floor we stayed on.

The front desk staff was WONDERFUL!!! I had issues with my room key, they not only assisted me, one gentleman walked me to my door to make sure I was good.
