Amaité Beach Hotel

This is one of the hardest reviews I've written, as frankly the rating I gave the hotel could have also been lower. In the end I decided on an average rating, mostly due to the efforts of a couple of employees to address the issues I had. The main issue is the lack of warm water in the hotel. The drizzle coming out of the shower was tepid at best, and as someone who enjoys a nice warm shower, this was a real annoyance. The hotel did provide me with a partial refund on the first night and then attempted to fix the issue but with very partial success. The bottom line is they just don't have warm water at the hotel. The second issue is the wifi, that is one of the weaker ones on the island and is barely usable much of the time. The third issue is the beach. It's a very nice beach area, until the Sargassum comes. And when it comes, this hotel and the ones right next to it are hit the hardest - by far. A gorgeous beach becomes a mucky, black mess. Not really their fault, but sucks if you're there. Hotels towards the eastern part of the island have far more pristine beaches. As I mentioned, the staff was nice, especially Alejandra who went out of her way to try and find solutions to my concerns. She was the main reason I resisted giving the hotel a lower rating. I think this hotel has a ton of potential, but they need to put some money into upgrading their showers and wifi. I stayed at a way cheaper hotel a couple of blocks away that had suer fast wifi and warm water.

Everything was excellent at this place, location, cleanliness, service, the girl at the reception was very attentive, she even printed a page of recommendations for us, gave us tons of ideas of what to do, food and service at the restaurant was very good and a very good price!! We were very happy here, just steps from the beach and very easy to find

It was in the middle Of everything great service from front desk the price was perfect room looks over at the beach we had a balcony I can not have asked for more . Are there better hotels maybe but for the price I can’t complain at all . You are in the middle of all so if you want not a single sound don’t stay here music can be heard from room till Midnight but honestly wasn’t bad cuz we were out as well . I rather be kn the middle of it all then secluded

A lovely place to stay, centrally located but still pretty quiet in the evenings. The rooms are simple but I found them charming. Each night I slept with the windows open to hear the ocean. During the day the beach chairs are available for guests and it was by far my favorite place to enjoy the sea. I found the stay really relaxing and the staff was very kind.

Amaité its a great place to stay, its really close to the main square of Holbox and you can walk anywhere. The food its delicious and the staff very gentile.

Wifi didn’t cover our room. Good restaurant

We got the luxury suite and it was amazing! Just impecable! The receptionist was also very friendly and the location was also fantastic.

The location is excellent. Right on the beach, right in town close to restaurants, pharmacies, shops and convenience stores. We had a master suite which was much larger than what we needed but it was spacious, comfortable, clean and we had our own little ‘yard’ with a hammock and a couple of lounge chairs. The included breakfast was delicious and substantial with fresh juices, fruit , a selection of breads and your choice of eggs or chilaquiles. We also had dinner on the dock one night which was so romantic. The meals are on the beach with sand under your feet. The service was attentive, friendly and quick. We had a wonderful time and hope to be back soon!

El hotel si bien esta frente a la playa, el.costo calidad-precio se me hizo excesivo para lo que es el hotel, las camas estaba algo incomodas. Lo que si se reconoce es que al ser super pequeño holbox esta a dos cuadras del centro y varias actividades alrededor
