Fairfield Inn & Suites Youngstown Boardman/Poland

Great room. Very comfortable and loved the extra space with a sectional couch. The hotel is centrally located near shopping and restaurants. It sits next to a highway but once in the hotel it was an extremely quiet stay. Enjoyed very much. Only draw back was that someone had mud on their shoes and left chunks of dirt though the foyer all the way to the elevator. We checked in at 3pm and it was still there when we came back to the hotel at 10pm. Overall though it was a great stay.

We booked a 4 night stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. On our second night after a long day of visiting family, we got back to our room to unmade beds and a dirty bathroom. I called the front desk to report the state of our room. I was told, "Didn't they tell you at check in that there would be limited cleaning on the holiday?" No, as a matter of fact I wasn't told and really let's call it what it is -- NO CLEANING! I was offered a complimentary beverage from hospitality for my inconvenience. They in fact charged me more for the Thursday night I stayed. Never coming here again and I have two more nights to stay!

Have stayed here twice for the YSU football games. We will continue to stay here as long as it continues to be an excellent place to stay. Staff was very friendly. Hotel and room were clean and up to date. It was just a short ride to Stambaugh Stadium, a short walk to Starbucks & Dunkin’ Donuts and short drive to Quaker Steaks. We’ll be back next spring for the 2018 football season. Go Penguins!

Air-conditioning worked poorly

I enjoyed the comfortable bed and very friendly staff. I would stay there again for sure
