Amazing beautiful time 😍

The hotel is really pleasant and is really central and walking distance from the best Copenhagen has to offer. Check-in was smooth but we got a room that did not fit our requirements - we had asked for a bath so had to change rooms and also noticed that the phone was not working. There was no way to properly lock the door and we could not find the "do not disturb sign" so got woken up for room service in an unpleasant manner after our first night. We also wanted a queen sized bed instead of two double beds put together and that also did not happen. Then on the second morning we got harassed in a very impolite manner to check out (as we were slightly late). They came to knock at the door at 11:05, 11:10 and called at 11:15 to remind us 3 times in a tone that was less than friendly that check out was at 11:00 sharp. There were not that many guests as it is Covid time so this was really disappointing for a 4 star hotel service. I did not expect the rudeness that came at check-out. We just had a week of very intense business seminars and needed to rest in a place we thought we could - I was disappointed to be treated in this way.

The hotel was located perfectly for our trip, right in the centre of the city. If you’re planning to explore all areas of Copenhagen then this is the perfect location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond many times during our stay and I cannot praise them highly enough. One particular occasion we were woken early due to some building work next door. After calling the reception, the hotel offered us a free breakfast and moved us to a different room. Perfect service. If I could rate this hotel 4.5 stars then I would but it didn’t quite get the 5 stars from me. The reasons are as follows... the rooms were lovey but we’re on the small side. We upgraded our room to a larger room but they were still on the small side. The bigger issue for me was the bathroom doors, which were semi-transparent and faced the beds. I don’t really enjoy watching my wife on the toilet, even if it is just the outline of her. Finally, the morning that we did have breakfast in the hotel, i didn’t really think that it warranted the cost of it. Don’t get me wrong, there was a good choice and the food was of a good quality but it wasn’t enough to make me go “wow”. However, I would absolutely stay here again next time I visit Copenhagen and if the hotel could just swap the glass bathroom doors for wooden ones, they’d get a 5-star review from me.

It was a lovely stay, and we have no complaints.

I shared a room with my partner for two nights while on a business trip. The beds were not super comfortable and the pillows were exceptionally high and hard. The staff was real nice and overall I would recommend Ascot Hotel, but I'm happy I got it at a discounted price.

Very clean and gorgeous hotel with a delicious breakfast buffet! Right in the heart of Copenhagen, close to everything!

It was very average. Not what I was expecting from a 4 star hotel. Single beds in room were SUPER small. Not even able to roll over once. No view from Windows, small room too.

Rommet var gammelt og sliten. På søndag ble vi kasta ut av frokostsalen kl. 10.30 Selv om frokost er til kl. 10,30 men jeg synes at det er en måte å si ifra til folk som sitter på at de må gå. Resepsjon personalet var derimot veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme.

The Location is excellent. Having been there before, I had expected to be given a nice room, since I was there for 3 nights. The first choice was on the first floor overlooking a construction site. I asked to be moved and was and got a better room. The hotel is rated as a 4 star. I would give it 3
