Homestay in Walsall

Worse stay ever , wrong key code to get in, no one to meet you had to get our key for our room from top of the fridge, Toilet omg where I do I start very small and if someone went in to have a shower the floor is soaking wet as there’s no shower curtain just a toilet and shower for all the rooms to share , floor very slippery, No tv’s working in our room there wasn’t a tv in the lounge if you want to call it that 2 sofas in the kitchen.... Rooms are not soundproof daughter had a dance comp on Sunday but we had no sleep from the noise outside at 1st a couple fighting fair enough that had nothing to do with the hotel but from 3am to 4:30am the ones staying above us that’s all they were doing was running up & downstairs screaming, laughing and slamming the doors .... so definitely will not be staying there again .... but to demand money upfront and refuse to give a refund is disgusting but you can see why no refund as no one will stay there otherwise ....

Wi-Fi comes and goes. I do appreciate this place But their name is false advertising

Generally grubby beroom extremly small, wall sockets lose potentialy dangerous wardrobe unsable and wobbly plastic tore dusty tacky blind at tiny window bathroom amenities substandard with toilet cisten lose and wobbly!!!!! My host unhelpful and rather dismissive and indifferent, no greet or meet even had the afront to phone me on the day of the booking to cancel !!! he had double booked, overall a very unpleasant experience under no circumstances would I recommend this abode!!!! stay clear

Not enough facilities in room very noisy but itvwas very clean and staff was very polite

Theres no luxury about it very basic room way too small shared bathroom bedding were cheap lots of noisy kids runing up and down the stairs the outside looked abit run down didnt stay in the end went to a different b@b maybe ok for the younger clientele or hen stag party abit too noisy for us

Stood knocking for ages and couldn’t gain access, even after someone went in just about 10 seconds before me... door was locked and called number provided on app, to make sure it was the right address (it was a terraced house) and got through to a call centre... not happy. Had to go elsewhere.

So, I understand that this is still a project that has yet to fulfil its potential, having said that I could see where this place might be going. There was a very evident priority on guest safety, with fire alarm points and properly fire sealed doors to all rooms. The communal spaces were clean and well lit and the finishes were very good, crisp clean paintwork and smart tiles made this a pleasant place to settle down and unwind after a long day. I had my reservations about the area. It all looks a little run down and the trio of overflowing bins by the front door did nothing to raise expectations. Parking is free on the street, which is reasonably busy and I think must be en-route to the local police station. There are local amenities, a tanning salon, an off-licence and a KFC in walking distance. But once through the front door it is rather like entering a different world. The rooms are quiet but definitely not sound proof!

Its not luxury home stay, 2 washrooms for 7 people, some guests dont sleep at night and makes life hard in tight space, no mirrors in waahroom, no TV, hard to check in, tight rooms with less space to move around.

Lovely modern property with fully functional kitchen and washing machines + dryer.

Friendly owner let me change the night booked after the course I came for was moved. Clean comfortable room. Thanks.
