Reasonable

Generally very good. Extremely noisy guests though overnight. Children running up and down the corridor slamming doors continuously. As we needed to get up at 3am…….not happy

I thought the food in the restaurant was very sub standard The gnocchi was tough and not very fresh and seemed microwaved the greens were limp and the cheese like a glue paste on top I could not get through more than a few mouthfuls The tiramisu was really poor, liquid cream soup with one or two floating sponge fingers and no sign of coffee or chocolate flavours the cheapest of lemon curd in unattractive blobs on the top(?) never seen that before and it made the experience worse I could barely eat 3 mouthfuls Not very satisfied at all and the prices should cover decent ingredients I understand the dish that is masquerading as tiramisu is made offsite I strongly suggest it be tasted by someone with a palate It’s an insult to charge money for such rubbish I won’t eat there again and I will tell other locals of which I am one to avoid going there The accommodation is adequate but you have a lot of competition and places better located for dining and water front activities Your restaurant is letting you down in my opinion Staff there were excellent but there were not enough of them to provide decent service I tipped them well I imagine they need the money in case the restaurant goes under Thanks for allowing me to share I’d happily back this up verbally

First time staying at Rydges Geelong and we had a great stay! The hotel was so clean as was our room, staff were wonderful and location is great with plenty of street parking in close proximity to the hotel. The paella, grilled octopus and churros for room service were also 👌 Thanks to all the staff and we cant wait to come back!

Room temperature, it goes down to as low as 19°C. That's not nearly enough on a hot day. Our last day was a hot one and it didn't manage to cool the room. I'm a hot sleeper, didn't manage to get any sleep.

We didn't find the reception staff terribly welcoming. Information given was vague and not portrayed with any warmth. Don't bother paying $20 per night for their secure parking, as there is nothing secure about it. Our 1 bedroom appartment was spacious and clean, but we had no idea there were no doors between the bedroom and living areas. This did not suit our requirements and was not apparent prior to booking. The kitchen was functional and clean, but there was no toaster or pan which was odd and made it impossible for us to prepare the food we'd purchased. Overall our stay was ok. It certainly wasn't the standard we'd expected, but it was walking distance to GMHBA Stadium which was good.
