Baymont Inn & Suites Grand Haven – Grand Haven

I was rather disappointed with the size of the room for how much I paid for the weekend. The room was tiny without much room to even walk in. The bathroom was small and wasnt the cleanest. A panel on the baseboard of the wall fell off. Stay was ok but not at all impressive.

Internet did not work, spoke with management three times with no results. Bed was uncomfortable as well. Dresser was broken and management was aware before we arrived.

First night was totally ruined by neighbors who partied hearty past 5:00 a.m. (not kidding!). Responsive staff gave us a new room on another floor, so the next two nights were heaven. Whole place is old and outdated and attempts to update are only patchy at best-- but a great stay for a reasonable price. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub too. Breakfast could use a little improvement (No microwaved eggs!) or else better to BYO. Staff and service however are all first class.

Entire staff, especially the front desk and housekeeping mgr were friendly and courteous. The staff are proud of Grand Haven and what it has to offer and they were very informative of places of interest and gave great recommendations of places to eat and visit. Great pool area...

The location was convienient and the staff was friendly, but the hotel was really worn down. The bathroom especially needed a deep cleaning and refurbishing. For the price, it could have been better. We stayed in the one in Grand Rapids previously and it was much better. Only 10 minutes further from Spring Lake.
