Nicely updated rooms for a hotel built in the late 1800's. Great soaker tub in the bathrooms. Good atmosphere with a fire in the business center area. Restaurant and bar were closed due to Covid.

Stayed here a few years ago and it was great. I know we are going through COVID right now but it seemed shabby. Not what I expect and remembered from a higher end hotel. Sketchy folks in the lobby early and late. Would never stay again.

The rooms were nice. Some of the floorings were popping up and the room looked like it could have used a better floor cleaning. Overall it was a nice hotel and the staff was super polite. It was walking distance to a lot of great food choices.

We stayed in a whirlpool suite for my 30th birthday. The suite itself was AMAZING! It was spacious, modern, and comfortable. The ceilings were high, and there were basically floor-to-ceiling city views in the bedroom and bathroom. There’s a TV in the bathroom, so you can soak in the tub and just totally chill. With COVID, there was a seal on the door that it had been fully sanitized. I had no concerns about cleanliness. The only downfall would be that there weren’t any instructions or info in the room. Like, we were left to figure out the WiFi, nearby restaurants, the switch for the bathtub jets, etc. on our own trial-and-error. It isn’t a huge deal, but for then price paid for this room- you don’t expect to run into any problems to solve on your own. The staff we dealt with were fine, not overly friendly but not unprofessional either. Overall I would absolutely recommend! We will be visiting this whirlpool suite again!

So. Its hard trying to travel in style in the age of Covid. I booked the hotel as a 4 star property. I saw on line that the bar and restaurant were not open. Didnt know there were no food options at all. Plus didnt know until check in about no maid service. Get new towels at the desk and get new bed linens outside your door, but make your own bed. Like i said. Traveling 4 star during Covid isnt like it used to be. Im very happy i got a good rate thru hotels.com. if i had paid normal prices for this hotel with the limitations i would have been pissed. That being said. The room itself was fine and the staff helpful and courteous totally understsnding my frustration and doing everything they could to be accomodating. Under the circumstances.

Probably one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The first room the gave was dirty. The comforter had food crumbs and hair on it. The second too was somewhat better. The hotel is under construction so it wasn’t very clean. There was dirty bedding laying outside of one of the rooms. We were awaken around 6am to hotel staff talking and laughing very loudly. This continued off and on for the rest of the morning and we were unable to sleep. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Hotel was/is under a major renovation and construction. We were not informed of that prior to our stay. The room itself was clean and up date. The balcony’s are very small and almost pointless.

The room was really nice, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious, but the staff was a little rude when I went to the front desk asking for more towels. The hallway leading to our room had food crumbs and little pieces of paper thrown about. Overall it was a good stay, it was quiet, but I probably would choose a different next time we’re in town

Cool old building. Rooms have fun layout because of age.
