Eastside Guesthouse

The owners are renovating a house at the front of the property, so there is not much curb appeal; but the Eastside Guesthouse is a lovely place to stay. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. There is a large common room with a kitchen and outdoor grills for the guests to use. Their are also cards, board games, books, and puzzles for the guests to use.

Very cute cabin and fixtures, comfy bed, outdoor room access is extremely social distancing friendly. Nice and clean. Bathroom light is on a timer and may go out while you're showering.

Quick fishing trip to Bishop with da boys. Room was clean and newly refurbished. Tastefully minimalistic. Hostel style approach with central kitchen and patio. Great way to chat with hikers and fisherpeople.

Did not like outside lights on all night, looked like daylight. Bed felt like it had lumps in it. Needs one comfortable chair to sit in. A tv would be nice

Guesthouse is fantastic! Will definitely plan another trip to Bishop very soon.

Very clean..new feeling. Remodeled well with great aesthetics. . Interesting but definitely a friendly concept at Eastside Guesthouse. Very peaceful and comfortable layout on the site.

Only pertains to the Four Gables unit as last year in the single room it was excellent. The AC unit has a constant creaking sound that I could not eradicate so it was like sleeping on a boat with the creaks of what i believe might be the styrofoam insulation around the duct vent.

This place was really cute and everything we needed. There was a community kitchen and hang out spot. The room was small but very nice. Forgot to call to setup a late night check in but they had check instructions taped to the door for us when we arrived. Was great for the backpacker type, nice no frills home base for some adventure.

Excellent economy option to consider on e.g. road trip. Was clean and everything worked without a problem. Bishop is a cute little town that has all basic conveniences that you might need in the area.

The property was cute. Modern and the common room was nice. I was in a women's dorm room. Only one other woman was in there. She snored like an outboard motor! I couldnt sleep. It was awful. I called the emegency number to see if another room could be arranged. It could not. So I left at 1am and paid for another hotel. I ended up at Motel 6 which wss QUIET and remolded, bed was reallyg reat. I woildnt recommend Eastside bunk rooms bc u d
