Real Inn Tijuana by Camino Real Hotels

My stay was okay, the people at the front desk need more training in customer service, they were nothing close to friendly or welcoming. The best service was from the bell boys, the room service people, and the maintenance man. I had the following issues The room’s heater didn’t work and they sent me a small potable heater which didn’t work as well. Needless to say my 12 year old daughter and I had four long cold nights. I was only able to shower once in four days because the hot water will only stay hot for a couple of minutes. I reported this and the maintenance man was nice enough to teach me a trick on how I could get hot water but the next day, I had the same issue. I was never offered to move to another room, as I stated the front desk people all seemed bothered, short-answered, and the least friendly. The noise was another issue, one can hear all traffic, ambulances, and even the loud drunk neighbors.

Really enjoyed our stay it was very clean and nice. Employees were friendly and helpful. There cafe is nice we enjoyed a delicious dessert and drinks. The rooms are very spacious, clean and the bed is comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

The customer service was still bland like our 1st stay. That was consistant. The room was clean but was difficult to manage the room temperature. Nice showers, still slippery with the slick tile.didnt use the restaurant or bar but it looked clean and well maintained

This has been one of the worst days in Tijuana I’ve ever had. I got to check in and the man asked me about a reservation and I said yes I had one, he said I’m sorry but there’s no more. I told him I’ve had my reservation for about a month. Off the top you can tell he judged me and my family from our appearance. He said it was too late to check in, and I said I’ve been traveling for eight hours, how is it too late plus we got stuck in rain traffic. He was nitpicking about everything to us. He finally let us have our room we get to our room the beds were horribly small two people cannot fit on them comfortably not to mention they were uncomfortable. There was also hairs on the sheets which signifies that they did not do the turn down service in this room I was disgusted.

I don't think this is a 3 star hotel, the place is nice but it needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning

Great hotel! Got my Gold level upgrade from Hotels.com to the sixth floor which included free happy hour drinks, snacks and a complete hot breakfast. Biggest TV I ever seen in a hotel room. Amazing shower room, so big it doesn’t even need a door. I’ll be back
