Hotel Gletscherblick

Our group (18 people) loved the hotel. It has everything you need, the breakfast buffet was delicious and varied. It is cozy and the service is without a doubt the best. Very personalized and kind. We will book again for sure!

The service her was top notch. We arrives late in the night, and the owner herself stayed to give us our key, help us with plans the next day, and invite us to breakfast. The rooms were super clean and the views were amazing! WOW! WOW! WOW!

Wonderful stay... Nice place, apartment was very roomy for four pax. Very helpful at reception... A family managed hotel. Great place to stay.

Hotel is just 5-10 minutes walk from Chair lift (Grindelwald First). We have got a free ticket to travel in bus and also got 30% off to experience the chair lift to go to the top of the Europe. Staff was extremely friendly. There was self service kitchen and free tea coffee and other foods, that included free breakfast. Most recommended hotel to everyone.

Overall is OK. The facility is quite clean. The down side is that the hotel charged extra fees per person for cleaning. It wasn’t informed. And the location is not so good because it is placed in away from the main town which has great view. Moreover, the staffs are not that kind.

This hotel is located in a beautiful spot just outside of town. The views from the balcony were amazing. The hotel itself needs improvement. The pillows were completely flat and we had to use towels underneath. The staff didn’t have regular pillows at all which was not a good thing. The breakfast buffet is cold with minimal choices. This hotel is large but underutilized with empty rooms on the main floor that could have been used as a lounge but there wasn’t anything at all. The owners need to invest some money and put improvements in this place.

This hotel was amazing! The staff are so nice and helpful, they really go out of their way. It’s nice to be a little away from town (though it’s so uphill trek to the hotel, so arrange a hotel shuttle if you have a lot of luggage). The views are stunning and worth the walk to the hotel. There’s a large back deck that you can relax on and enjoy the views. The kitchen is open all day for coffee, tea, cocoa, etc. which is a huge plus. There were even delicious homemade cookies in the evening. The rooms are clean and well maintained with a good chalet feel. I 100% recommend this hotel!

Hotel Gletscherblick. Great place to stay with fantastic views of the Alps

The rooms were very spacious. Balcony with view of the Eiger. This property sits above the town with spectacular views. Huge outdoor terrace with lots of lounging area to enjoy the scenery. 5 minute walk to heart of town and the First. Staff is very knowledge and came outside with me at 5;30am and told me history of the mountain, surrounding areas and pointed out many things that would have otherwise been missed. We will be back!
