The hotel is beautiful with lovely rooms, a gorgeous flower-filled courtyard, a good breakfast, friendly staff. Water pressure is poor and many restrictions regarding disposal of toilet tissue.

Great breakfast and wonderful helpful staff. Victoria is a charming hostess and gave us many helpful suggestions of places to see. The location is excellent and very quiet. The hotel is full of art and the courtyards are beautiful.

Large rooms, beautiful grounds, excellent location. The owner was very helpful in suggesting activities and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

the man who seemed to be the primary office person was rather rude and not helpful; the courtyard was unattractive, with piles for repair and left over supplies, just OK, which did not live up to its advertising

Beautiful place very close to the main square. Beds were comfortable and the rooms very spacious. Nice amenities.

The place was amazingly charmingly. Very peaceful, clean, and the employees were phenomenally friendly. Breakfast was delicious and filling.

The decor of the Rosa room was beautiful! Spacious, heater in room, micro wave with the grain filled heating bags for your neck, large california king beds with double duvet to keep you warm, drinking water in your room, hot delicious coffee at 7 am., a wonderful breakfast including fesh fruit, 3 kinds of scrambled eggs, potatoes, green beans, refried beans, and at least 3 other dishes on the buffet from 8.30 to 10.00 a.m. later on very good margueritas at less than half the cost in a restaurant. Jaime, the tour guide was exceptional, all suggested by our kind hostess, owner, Victoria. The staff were excellent. Even accommodating a very early morning checkout. Bravo. Cathy

A very special place where you feel surrounded and settled into the heart of Mexico. The staff help you practice your spanish no matter how little you have, which felt safe to try. The room decor in the two rooms we stayed in are exactly like the photos. The beds are super comfy. The breakfasts are very good including gresh fruits, eggs several ways, pastries as well as unlimited tea, coffee and juice. It was nice to have a small microwave to heat drinks in the room. The owner and staff helped us arrange s driver to tour us to some of the local artesan villages around the lake. Our only feedback for improvement would be to try to remove a slight mildew smell in the lower level Nido room. It was rainy weather which might have made it worse.

My husband, our son and I visited Pátzcuaro and stayed at Casa Encantada. The hotel is lovely in a perfect location. Next time we are in Pátzcuaro, we will definitely return and stay here.

Loved the atmosphere. The staff was amazing and the rooms are well decorated and unique. We are already planning our next stay. The complementary breakfast was wonderful.
