We have chosen Royal Westwood palace for 2 nights stay during our visit of Los Angeles. We didn´t expect much from two stars hotel but we were very pleasantly surprised. Room was huge, with big comfortable bed, very clean, we had safe in the room and also wify. hotel rate also included breakfast, it was just basic breakfast, but we enjoyed having fresh coffee/ tea and fruits ready for us in the morning. location is outside the city centre, but it was good for the price paid, we had a car so we didn´t mind. Hotel is located close to Bevery Hills in quite nice and quite area. if we ever go to LA again, we will consider using hotel services again.

Pokoj prostorný a čistý, parkování v pořádku. Bazén malý, ale na osvěžení také O.K. V okolí nic podstatného, ale zase blízko dálnice a jednoduše najitelný. Cena rozumná, snídaně ve fastfoodu vedle se slevou 10% z běžných cen, která bez problémů fungovala.

Poloha
Floral Inn se nachází ve městě Monterey Park a je je nedaleko letiště. V blízkosti jsou Kalifornská státní univerzita – Los Angeles a Nákupní centrum Citadel Outlets. Mezi další zajímavosti v oblasti patří Stadion Dodger Stadium a Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Charakter hotelu
V hotelu Floral Inn jsou venkovní bazén a vířivá vana. Bezdrátové připojení k internetu je ve veřejných prostorách zdarma. V ceně je zahrnuta snídaně každé ráno. V hotelu jsou dále k dispozici například: personál se znalostí několika jazyků, prádelna a rozšířené recepční služby. Hostům je umožněno vlastní parkování zdarma na místě. Během února 2010 byla dokončena celková rekonstrukce tohoto hotelu.

"Reception Staff Soooooooo Helpful"
Reception staff is amazingly helpful and respond to stupid requests with a smile. Rooms are very clean and well appointed. Neighbourhood not so bad as some reviews make out - the hotel is on the fringe of an employment area, given the proximity of two highways. Employment neighbours are closed in the evenings and on weekends, so they are quiet. "Clean, inexpensive hotel for family Spring Break"
We were looking for an inexpensive hotel for a family Spring Break holiday. We were taking our kids and one of our dogs. This hotel isn't fancy but it takes pets, has a nice basic breakfast buffet and is relatively close to the Hollywood area and its attractions. And it was inexpensive. I do agree with other reviews that the beds weren't too comfortable […] , and there isn't much to do in Monterey Park, but we were going elsewhere. There is some road noise too, but I always bring earplugs to any hotel(expensive or cheap) because of potential issues so this was fine. The staff was friendly and helpful. And when we had a problem with our car's security system, they arranged for the garage next door to attend to it. We've stayed in some fancy and expensive places and didn't feel with got our money's worth, but that wasn't true about this hotel. And I think the most you can expect is getting your money's worth, so this place passed that standard with flying colors. And let's face it, if you have a pet, your universe of reasonbly price hotel choices is limited. If we head over to LA again, Floral Inn will be on our list of places to stay. Lastly, they didn't have shampoo in the room, but we brought our own so that wasn't a big deal either. Další informace

"The Floral Inn in East LA - a safe, friendly place"
Although this hotel is slightly out of the way of the more touristy parts of LA, it is worth a short drive. It seems to be in a quieter part of the city and we had no trouble sleeping. The room was quite clean and the beds were comfortable enough. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. If you're picky, the carpets had a few spots and the shower had trouble […] draining quickly. There is a small pool and sauna, but the gate was locked and we were told the city had not given its approval for the pool to be opened yet. Complimentary breakfast was better than I'd expected - bagels, packaged pastries, yogurt, milk, orange juice, hot chocolate, coffee, boiled eggs, and cereal. We were completely happy with our stay. I have been at the floral in a couple of times and they never have a none smoking room available. I wonder if they just want to sale you the smoking package......

The new owners of this place really care about the place. I see them checking what work the cleaning crew did after a room was cleaned etc. This was an awesome place and a great price and the breakfast was amazing. Decent room. The Front door was slanted on it's hinges which allowed a bit of draft to come in. The bathroom door was also suffering this problem which made it difficult to open and close. The bathroom door lock was broken so it would not lock. Although the windows were closed, our room was right next to the main road and we can hear the cars drive […] by as if our window was open, due to the old style heating and cooling window system. I am a heavy sleeper, so it didn't bother me much, but it may be a bother for some people. The biggest problem was the water was never hot enough. It's a little chilly when taking a shower. Otherwise, if you can get over the fact of a few problems, this place actually isn't that bad. They have flat screens with cable TV, and the bathroom is quite spacious, despite the water problem. The bed is pretty comfy, and the amenities that are included are ok for use. I suggest you bring your own travel size shampoo, toothbrush, and the like. There are no "Do Not Disturb " signs. "Decent place for a one/two night stay."
Room was clean and odor free. Bathroom was clean, flat screen tv with a few cable channels, desk, shutter windows, nice decor, free wi-fi, free breakfast, free toothbrush (but no tooth paste), small swimming pool, friendly staff at check in and 7-11 next door. Not the best place but not the worst that I've been to. It is a decent place to stay for one […] or two nights. There is lots of traffic noise coming through the windows from the streets, the bed did squeek and my back did hurt a bit when I woke up but i've been on worse beds. Nice hotel, nice re-modeled rooms, little small to get by bed and walkway to bathroom. Toilet paper...thinner than 1 ply, towels very small and thin, pool had notice by State of California for ..so needless to say couldn't use it, it was locked...and they stated they have botled water in the rooms....didn't not see any water. Great place to stay for couple of nights, cheap, clean, nice modern rooms. Pet friendly! Only negativ thing is, the water wasn't warm enough when take a shower.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the Floral Hotel. It was conveniently located for our purposes and our room was quiet and comfortable. The price was quite reasonable and the staff helpful and pleasant.

The room was clean and everything worked. The neighborhood didn't seem too safe (good thing they have a secure parking lot). I'm a real heavy sleeper and still I couldn't get much sleep. "The floral inn. Monterey park. A well priced motel"
The customer service of the floral inn hotel was quite decent. They accommodated me with an early check in of 10 am instead of 3 pm. It's a 10 min drive from downtown l.a. with minimal traffic. Its a clean motel an well equipped with a small fridge and microwave and the 7/11 next door was convenient. It's also well remodeled and looks up to date with […] the flat screen and granite sink tops. The only negative aspect of this hotel is their paper thin walls! You can hear every minute sound including the traffic outside and guests upstairs. Bring ear plugs and you'll sleep soundly. Overall it's a clean convenient motel and I've stayed there numerous times on business trip. Well worth the price especially if u want to avoid downtown l.a. Room rates. I didn't go in with high expectations - just a cheap room for a couple of nights. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are smallish - this has never bothered me, but well adorned. Bad: my room was right next to a busy street and the windows were very thin, so I heard all the traffic and it was difficult to sleep at night. The chair's adjustable lever was welded to prevent the arms from damaging the desk, so […] I couldn't use the desk because the chair height was very low. No toothpaste provided. I was very surprised by how clean and comfortable my room was for the price. The room looked relatively new with clean carpeting, a big flat screen TV, and modern looking decor. WiFi was free and so was parking. The service was great. The front desk already had my paperwork handy and check in/out was very fast. The 1st time my boyfriend and I stayed there, it was a bit noisy outside but that wasn't the hotels fault. the walls do seem to run a little thinner than one would like. The rooms are nice, I'm not sure I like the set up too much but we made it work. I do love that they offer a continental breakfast and the beds are comfortable enough.

Note to all ladies: Bring your own bath towel and bath products!! The bath towels in the room are dingy old, thin and small. I didn't t see any shampoo in the room either. Other than that, the room is good for the price you pay! The breakfast snack bar in the registration office is a great touch, too.
