I was NOT happy at all. The hotel room was very small and dim, very depressing and it was cheaply decorated. The front desk is not accommodating at all. Our view was an "ocean view", but we were on the side of the hotel, so it was barely a view of the ocean. The whole experience there sucked and I would NEVER stay there again, even if it was free!

The room was clean, kind of small and definitely lacking in amenities. No iron, refrigerator. The beds were super comfy. The walls are paper thin, I could hear everything in the room next to us as if they were sitting next to me. My biggest complaint is when making the reservation I indicated that there would be three people in the room. Once I did […] this the price per night changes for the room. This bothers me because the hotel only provides 2 chairs per room. Additional chairs are $10 per chair, per day. On top of that the hotel charges a resort fee of $15 per day per person. I love the location of this hotel, its cleanliness, friendly staff and and the rooms are very comfortable.

Difficult to find hotel. Only two brown banners marking the entrance. Drove by it a couple of times. Not enough electrical outlets in the room. Only one in the room and one in the bathroom. Hotel staff was very very kind. Room very clean. Nice shower head with good pressure. Elevator doors will close on you if you aren't quick enough, no bounce back […] feature. Per day charge to use the beach chairs which ought to be included with your room. No lounge with adequate lighting to read, other than the table in the hotel lobby. My favorite thing about this hotel was the good Cuban restaurant in the horseshoe shaped strip mall about two blocks South of the hotel. Good Black beans and rice and plantains and tres leches there. I upgraded to an ocean view king room. Over all, it was fine, but it was small! No iron/ironing board, but they brought one up when I called. no safe in the room either. They give you shower gel but no bar of soap. Small pool, but great beach right outside the back door. I chose it because of the beachfront location, and it was an excellent location, […] and because I got it on sale, for less than surrounding options on the beach. I would say I got what I paid for. hotel stay was convenient to my business location as well as within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly and helpful. cost of valet was high at $20/day with no self parking allowed. Also facility fee of $15/day was an additional cost.

The hotel location, beach and the double room with ocean view (not ocean front, just an ocean view) were all very nice. The service at the hotel was the worst I've ever seen. Room was not cleaned daily til after 6p, no ice machines in the hotels and never enough towels in the room. And calling the front desk was a waste of time to request anything such […] and ice or towels. Nothing arrived unless you called atleast 3, maybe four times. The beach towels provided by the hotel to the guests were wrinkled and torn with holes in them---very classy Sole. Very comfortable rooms with near perfect views and ok service. The valet service was a tad slow, but the courtesy and kindness more than made up for that.

Two things prevent this review from being perfect - almost non-existent TV reception in the room and a less than efficient valet parking system. If you don't have a car and have no need for TV, then you should be very happy here!

Picture everything that could go wrong and it did at this place. 1st room looked like the hotel staff had used it for their own personal valentines day celebration, 2nd room was small and felt like a freshman dorm room. don't plan on watching tv either with allthe parental controls and the staff that says "i dunno". if your staying in the area look […] else where. A modern hotel with attractive exterior that was right on the beach! How could I go wrong. . . . Now, I wish I had read the reviews before booking! Although my room was clean and staff members were friendly (some previous reviewers criticized this), the room was the smallest hotel room I have ever seen (in my life) and it was dimly lit. Some light bulbs […] had not been replaced. The AC was not working, so I was quickly moved to another room. The first room had an absolutely fabulous view toward the Inter-Coastal Waterway. The second room had a nice view of the ocean, although most of the view was of the adjoining hotel. This was somewhat problematic if you want privacy because the only drapery was for blocking out light. The rod for the second, lighter drapery had hooks, but nothing was on it. It was surprising to find that the hallway was quite dirty (other guests commented on this). My wife complained that there was no iron in the room, again echoing a complaint from many previous guests. Finally, the onslaught of people checking out at 11 AM created a 40-minute wait for valet parking to retrieve the car. I will not be going back. Další informace

We could not get into our room on two different tries when we checked in. We were moved to another room, the bed was enormously lumpy and the windows were dirty.

Basic problems: Room very small. Poor lighting. Only one trash basket. No tissues anyplace. No shelf in shower for shampoo and soap etc Room clean but in need of painting. Ocean view only possible from out on the balcony. Disappointing.

the hotel staff was terrific and the room was quite nice since we had an upgrade - the big problem in this hotel is the lack of soundproofing between the rooms and between the rooms and the hallway. had very noisy neighbors and could not get a wink of sleep until 3 am

Second stay at this hotel, answering a similar add for a resonably priced room. On arrival we soon discovered that the room we had this time "King with city view" was nothing more than a broom closet of a shared corridor for another room. Elevators left you waiting for unreasonable periods. For my money I'd find another spot in this area or do what […] we did, sample the boutique hotels in South Beach. We arrived at 10pm There was one person behind the counter Her priority was the maintenance calls before the 2guests standing in front of her. Oh by the way they get you for valet and the internet for the night whether you want it or not! Also know that there is no room service at that time of night. Don't be fooled by the Internet advertisements like we were! The hotel is nice looking from the outside and open lobby, but when we got to our room it was very disappointing. The rooms are so small to be so expensive, just the bed, tv, bathroom, and the door. You have to request for an iron and a board which looks old and dirty when you receive it. […] There are no tubs, just showers with no sliding door so basically you are washing in the open. There is a resort fee each day you stay there so extra money is being paid on top of the expensive regular nightly rate and you really don't have a choice but to use vallet parking because there is no where free for you to park on your own. The service for vallet parking was horrible, there would be a line of people waiting to receive their car and don't be surprised if you discover minor damage or even theft from your car! They cover themselves by adding a not responsible policy for damage, theft, etc to your car. Overall this is a place me and my wife will NEVER stay again and we strongly suggest that you don't even waste time or money for this hotel because it's definitely not worth it! Really liked the bigger hotel rooms with kitchen and huge bathroom. Recommend! Pool and beatch was good. Did use also garrage and gym, what was nice. For families there was extra room or big space kids have fun with...

Good to here if you get good deal. Rooms are lil smaller than expected. AC is noisy.

The room was cute. The staff were very nice. The only surprise was that they wanted to charge to use pots and pans, and we had a suite with a kitchen. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay . The free beach ball was a nice touch!

I was looking for something to complain about - could not find it!

The room we originally booked for a good price was closet-sized. We had to upgrade to a suite for some comfort and it ended up beeing very expensive. The lighting in the room is completely unacceptable. You almost need flashlights to be able to read a book or use the full-lenght mirror. We had to go out and buy tissues for the bathroom. Excelent hotel, with the best beaches and the best ubication in Miami, near to shopping area, Aventura Mall and Sawgrass Mall. Excelent rooms and services, everything looks new.

The hotel tries to get you for every dollar they can. The resort fee. Early check in fees of $75. No restaurant on premises. They give you the worst room in the place if you havent paid their rack rate.

Great location, great place. We booked a studio because we like to have some meals in. Even though it's advertised as a full kitchen and the appliances are state of the art, they charge 50$ to have pots and pans and no table to eat. Plus it's advertised "wi fi included" but there's a compulsery charge of 15$ per day for internet access, beach chairs […] etc. All in all, friendly staff always eager to please, very clean and comfortable rooms. This is NOT a hotel. Terrible service, small room, bad pillows with no options, no tissue box in the room, no ironing board, no iron in room. Forgot my dry cleaning one day service. Previous guest soap and shampoo left in room. Traveling associate had to be moved because of ant problem. Food is a joke.

I booked this hotel and paid in full with my credit card. When I was checking in, I was informed that the hotel charges $15/day "resort fee". When I said I paid in full through hotels.com, they told me that the extra charges are stated in the final payment confirmation. I asked them to show it to me on the print out and they could not find it. I paid […] the extra fee and went up to my room and after looking at the print out in detail, I found the small print of $15/day. So be careful about booking at hotels.com because even though you think you paid in full, the hotel may charge extra and it is only stated buried in the final confirmation page. Hotel is nice and right by the beach. There are plenty of places to eat, drink and shop that are walking distances. There is a $20/day parking fee if you have a car. South Beach is 30 minutes drive. i wike up with red bites on my body. I told the front desk about it and he was not even apologetic at all!!!!When i first checked in my bathrrom had dirt on the counter!

Hotel personnel were awesome. Had room service, but no restuarant - kinda weird. Room with king bed with city view was very small and crowded. No where to eat except bed. Beach access and wi-fi not included in room rate. Beach behind hotel kept very clean with chairs and umbrellas, but had to return them by 5pm.

For business or family trip - great location and service - highly recommended

I am unsure where the people on Trip Advisor have stayed in Miami, or other hotels for that matter, but the positive reviews are a joke. We stayed in their Deluxe King Ocean View room and our stay was actually quite terrible. Upon check in, the front desk staff didn't have their makeup or hair done, and not friendly which should have been our first […] clue. Going up to our room, the walls in the hall were dinged up pretty bad and marks everywhere. In the room we noticed the same except hand prints on the closet & bathroom doors, and lotion or something on the walls in the bathroom. The headboard was also less than clean with a large black stain on it & upon going to the bathroom, a towel from the previous guest was on the back of the door.....GROSS!!! The linens & bedding seemed clean, but we only got enough towels for one person (two people staying in the room). Had to call down EVERY DAY for more towels and a bar of soap. No safe int he room, no ice machines (have to call for ice or go down to the bar), & no mini fridge. They also charged almost $1,000 on our credit card, reversed it, and did not notify us. We found out when our card was declined at the mall for max daily minit, they didn't even tell us. When asked about it, they offered to do nothing and had no explanation for it. This was Friday, it takes two business days to clear and we were leaving Tuesday....so we were told "we just have to deal with it." Totally uprofessional and in appropriate. Další informace

THE HOTEL IS BEAUTIFUL, THE ONLY THING I HAD WORNG WITH IS THE ROOM THEY GAVE US...THE OUTLET IN THE BATHROOM DID NOT WORK, THE LIGHT BULB IN THE SHOWER WAS OUT, THE TOILET PAPER HOLDER WAS FALLING APART, THE TOILET KEPT RUNNING AFTER THE FLUSH, SOME OUTLETS IN THE ROOM WERE COMING OFF ALSO....BESIDES THAT EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL...THE DID TAKE AWAY […] THE RESORT FEE BECAUSE OF THE PROBLEMS...
