Plymouth Bay Inn & Suites – Kingston

Upon arrival the first room I was given was so bad I could not stay in it . The bedding and comforter were old and dingy and seemed it had been on the bed for 30 years . The rugs were so old and dirty I could not take my shoes off . The refrigerator actually had remnants of food in it....Need i say more? I was there overnight for a family wake and funeral […] and had no choice to leave but returned to the desk to request a room change. The receptionist did swap my room to a newer part of the hotel, however there was not much improvement. The slider door to the balcony had a broken lock and there was no air conditioning that I could control. The old-fashioned thermostat on the wall apparently broken or meant not for use by visitors. I would never stay there again and would not recommend it to others.... It's a shame because it has convenient location to Kingston area and Plymouth . This hotel needs demolition or major overhaul and remodel to improve hotel stay and conditions. Další informace

I was very disappointed in this Inn. The linens were threadbare with cigarette holes in them and the blanket was filthy The towels were scratchy. There are cigarette holes in the couch and on the floor. This place was dirty when I got there and was never really clean even after asking. I had to repeatedly ask for towels. I also asked for a complete […] new set for the bed and there was stil holes in the sheets. The other visitors were loud and rowdy. I will say that Maria and Lynn were very helpful. Donna was what kept me from moving to another hotel. She has exceptional customer service and went out of her way to try and get the things needed to make the room comfortable. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will never stay there again!!! Další informace

Staff was very pleasant & accomodating. Room was ok for 1 night, close to town, highway & Costco!!! Mattress was old & worn out. It made for a difficult night's sleep. The room's ammenities were acceptable We appreciated the frig. The price was right & we'd stay there again....

Receptionist at desk was very helpful and friendly. The price was reasonable and the room was comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast could be expanded as it is quite sparse serving only coffee, apple juice, 2 kinds of fruit, and tiny muffins. The adjoining Mexican restaurant is excellent and prices are quite moderate.

100% the location is perfect,clean,polite staff, enjoy that there is a balcony and a stove to cook amazing meals for my incredible boyfriend I've stay here 6 weekend and will continue to stay there I live in new Hampshire so I stay there to be with my love! Thank you!!!

Night mg was not nice. Bathroom was dirty Thg girl at desk in morning was helpfull it would have been a long day".people have to learn tollerence. This mng was just lazy.

We had a very nice stay at the hotel. Very comfortable clean and Quiet. The staff is very attentive and acted immediately on any needs. Loved the resident bunny.

The place is old and run down. Bathroom ceiling was moldy and chipping. The wall paper seams were seperating. The bedding was very old too. The carpet was scary.

During my swing through New England I fully expected the Plymouth Bay Inn & Suites to be the worst of the places I stayed. As it turned out I was wrong and I enjoyed my stay there. The Good News: Besides a very friendly and helpful staff the pool was a winner. I either missed it or it wasn't on the website but they had a heated indoor pool. My kids, […] expert indoor pool reviewers, rated this as the best indoor pool they encountered in New England. It was larger than average, warm and mildly lit after dark. A stark contrast to bright florescent lights and "heated" pools that are ice cold. More Good News: I am bed-bug-aphobic so I scoured the room for signs of the critters in all the usual locations (mattress and boxspring seams, bed frame, etc) and their were no signs at them all. The Bad News: Ick factor. The building (not room) reeked of old cigarette. I felt like I took a time machine and was transported to the 1970s (and this place would have been old then!). Not just by looks but also by smell. Also, under the bed was gross beyond description. There were no bed skirts and I made sure my kids knew not to go there and make sure no toys ended up there. The Verdict: If we were taking the kids on a New England Road trip and need a pit-stop we would come back... If the kids were staying at home and all I was looking for was a comfy bed and a nice shower I'd pass and look to upgrade into a newer place and a nicer room for about the same money.
