my wife and I really like the room. The only flaws we saw where the windows in the bathroom which was right above the shower and the pipes running through the hotel room and it made it look a little tacky. "renovation not quite completed"
If you are used to 1 room only then you will appreciate the extra living room kitchenette area. The hotel did major renovation and is very clean, appliances are all new but they didn't address the windows or the A/C system. There is a moldy smell in the whole hotel .The windows are from the 1950's and open with a tourniquet, none of the windows would […] close shut. We had to put pillows to muffle the outside noise and try to insulate the room. The a/c is a noisy wall unit which blast the bedroom with cold air but leaves the rest of the place warm.No screens on back windows so mosquitoes heaven in summer for sure.There was a mistake on the bill at check out time and they charged me for a pet staying in the room when we don't even have one.This issue is still not solved . "Mostly a great stay."
The outside needs some updating and we kept having a problem with our room keys. We literally had about 15-20 new keys made for a 5 day stay. We aren't sure why our keys kept getting de-activated but they were really nice at the desk. Another problem was, the website stated we were getting a 2 bedroom 2 bath, so we assumed it would be 2 full baths including […] a shower. We had only 1 shower for 6 people, so it was inconvenient but manageable. We were also not as close to the actual beach as we thought we would be. The positives.. The interior of the rooms were really nice, clean and updated. The staff was very accommodating and friendly; They also gave us some great tips for attractions and dining and provided us with the name & number of a free taxi company (they work for tips). The breakfast was good, as there were quite a few options; They had snacks available also for purchase. Overall it was a very great stay for they money. I would recommend for anyone who isn't concerned about being oceanfront and is looking for something comfortable that isn't terribly expensive. Enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and had good space. The pool area was nicely done. The staff was nice and the breakfast was adequate. We even used the grill one night...it's just that after being at the beach and the fact that it was summer time and hot as all get out, it would have topped it off to jump into a little colder of a pool than it was. "Great Nights Sleep"
Loved our stay! The room was comfortable and the beds were truly amazing, we all slept like babies. Ellentown outlet mall was only 20 mins. away, where we were able to get some fantastic deals for back to school. "reasonable for a night but not my first choice"
Staff was very nice...was not within walking distance to the beach..room was somewhat old and run down. Carpet and leather furniture very stained but they were doing renovations so maybe we didn't have an upgraded room. "Nice hotel - needs a good carpet cleaning!!"
Hotel was a good fit our family of four and pet - separate living room with a sofa sleeper and a kitchen. Great price and location - near beach, dining, shops. Dated decor, however hotel currently undergoing renovations. My only complaint is the carpet (in bedroom only, living room and kitchen are linoleum). It was absolutely filthy - appeared to not […] have been cleaned in a very long time. Despite renovations occurring in other areas of the hotel, a good carpet cleaning would go a long way in the rooms not yet renovated. I did not allow my toddlers to sit/play on the floor and made them wear shoes the entire time. Once renovations are complete, I would stay again.
