Coco de Mer Hotel and Black Parrot Suites – Ostrov Praslin

Like all hotels in the Seychelles, they are rather expensive, but in particular this hotel was of a good standard and they tried very hard to cater for all nationalities and tastes. Downside, if you don't like driving a car the hotel is a little isolated and taxis are not cheap owing to the cost of imported fuel which is slightly higher priced per litre […] than Europe. An excellent choice on Praslin. Staff really service minded. Lot's of big smiles. Evening buffets are varied and well prepared. Breakfast is fantastic. A rental car is adding a lot to the experience.

We were on our Honeymoon and Coco De Mer made sure we had an amazing one. Right from the time we stepped in, we only saw smiling faces all around. We were given a Superior room along the sea shore. Hemos pasado 4 noches en este hotel y la impresión ha sido excelente. Estuvimos alojados en una de las suites de Black Parrot. El desayuno tipo buffet es bueno y variado. La cena también es de tipo buffet y cada día es distinta. La variedad de los alimentos es excelente así como la calidad. Además el personal del hotel está siempre pendiente por si […] te falta algo, por si necesitas alguna explicación en algún plato, etc... La variedad de los vinos es buena y los precios son contenidos para lo que te puedes encontrar en Seychelles. El hotel está situado al sur de la isla de Praslin. Las mejores playas están en el norte con lo que es casi imprescindible alquilar un coche (60 € con seguro) y moverse por la isla, porque merece mucho la pena. De todos modos el hotel cuenta con un autobús gratuito que sale todos los días a las 09:30 am y que te deja en la playa de Anse Lazio, posiblemente la mejor playa de Seychelles. El mismo autobús a las 15:00 te lleva devuelta al hotel. El personal del hotel es excelente, todo lo que necesites lo hacen con rapidez y siempre de forma muy educada. Si necesitas un taxi, un coche, información de restaurantes para comer en la isla, reservar el barco para ir a la Digue (lo recomiendo encarecidamente), etc, ellos te lo gestionarán de forma rápida y eficaz. We stayed at CoCo de Mer Resort for our honeymoon. It was really gorgeous. All staff were kind and we felt easy. we stayed Mahe, Praslin, Shilluette. I think the Praslin is the best for holiday. there was so calm and clean. And lots of interesting place and things even though the island is small. Hotel à eviter : Il est situé trop loin des belles plages de Praslin. la plage de l'hotel est artificielle et sans intéret, il faut donc impérativement avoir une voiture si on on veut vraiement profiter de Praslin(compter 20 minutes pour aller sur cote d'Or et 30 minutes pour Anse Lazio). Les chambres très mal insonorisées, vous suivez les conversations […] de vos voisins et surtout leurs allées et venues au toilettes et ce qu'ils y font !!! J'avais lu que leur restaurant à la carte était très bon, ce qui n'était pas mentionné c'est qu'il est tous les soirs "exceptionnellement fermé", donc on doit se contenter du menu demi-pension qui est plus que quelconque (sauf le buffet créole du jeudi soir), sinon il faut là aussi prendre la voiture et faire 15 mn de route pour aller ailleurs. Vous n'avez même pas une bouteille d'eau offerte dans la chambre. L'hotel dispose d'une boutique ouverte le soir de 18H30 à 21H. Si dans la journée, vous avez besoin de quelque chose, là aussi il vous faut prendre la voiture et faire 10 à 15 minutes de route. Cet hotel annoncé comme 4 étoiles (et se targant lui même d'en avoir 5) est tout juste, selon les normes françaises un "petit " 3* . En bref, nous avons fait 4 hotels différents aux Seychelles, tous dans les mêmes budgets, Coco de Mer est de très loin le plus mauvais des 4. Je renouvelle mon conseil: Evitez le !!!! We loved this hotel from the moment we arrived. The staff is very attentive to their guests needs and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The location is beautiful and if you are looking for a tranquil spot to totally relax and reboot your batteries this is an excellent choice. The Seychelles is not a cheap place to go to, but we found that this was […] indeed very good value for money, also because there are little "extras" at no cost included - free coffee/tee in the afternoon, nature walks, a shuttle bus a couple of times per week to Anse Lazio etc. The only thing that we could have wished a little better was the level of the a la carte restaurant. Also, if you travel with young children it is advisable to book rooms on ground leve as you need to climb some stairs to get to the rest of the rooms. All in all, this is one of the best travel experiences we have had as a family and we give it our warmest recommendations. Další informace

Nous avons passé 7 nuits en demi pension au Coco de Mer et nous avons passé un excellent séjour! Le personnel est charmant, très serviable. Nous étions avec notre bébé de 18 mois et l'hôtel était très bien adapté ("grande" pataugeoire avc 30 cm d'eau, jouets de piscine, chaise haute, lit parapluie, etc.) et le personnel très chaleureux avec lui! Buffet […] du soir excellent! et le jeudi, c'est soirée Créole! mais pour les animations musicales, c'était franchement pas de notre goût (mais ps bien grave) Piscine vraiment agréable, en forme de cocofesse! Joli coucher de soleil. Petites plages sympa bien ombragées en bas de l'hôtel. Quelques criques toutes mignonnes un peu plus loin. Excursions gratuites proposées: plage Lazio et balade autour de l'hôtel (pas inoubliable mais explications intéressantes) Bref une très bonne adresse! Další informace

En uge i Paradis. Service er diskret, altid venlig og nærværende aldrig servil. Hotellet har heldigvis ikke den upersonlige resort-atmosfære, men virker som et hyggeligt familiehotel med god atmosfære og høj standard. Restauranten er relativ stor og knap så hyggelig, til gengæld er maden tip-top, både til morgenmad og middag. Poolrestauranten serverer […] god frokost Hotellet ligger isoleret i forhold til andre hoteller og restauranter, hvilket gør det omstændigt, såfremt man ønsker at spise et andet sted. Til gengæld giver det en dejlig ro. Der er shuttlebus 3xugtl til Anse Lazio, øens absolut bedste strand, en rigtig fin service. Der er en rigtig god trekkingtur man enten kan gøre med en guide, der fortæller om flora, fauna og fugle, hvilket han gør rigtig godt, eller man kan gå turen alene til toppen sidst på dagen og få den storslået udsigt over øerne og den nedgående sol. Der er et lille fitnesscenter, det fungerer fint, er ikke meget besøgt. Tennisbanen er næppe brugbar for tennisentusiaster, kan håbe på en renovering heraf.
