Russott Hotel Venezia San Giuliano – Mestre

Hotel location would be a big reason why I would not come back to this hotel. The location is on the other side of the bridge for the Venezia (island where you envision Venice canals and shops). This is an 18 to 20 Euro cab ride from Venice Mestre Train station. Once you arrive there is nothing around this hotel, its like a remote business district. […] No restaurants or anything around. To get to Venezia, you have to take a taxi (about 25 euros), walk to the bus stop and take the bus (1.5 euros) or the water taxi (18 euros). It is better to stay at by the Mestre train station where its only 1.2 euros to hop a train to Venezia. Oh the most interesting aspect of the hotel are the prostitutes (yes hookers!!) that walk in front of the hotel at night. Depending on who you are, this could be a good thing or a bad thing. It caught us by surprise the first night to see that. So I would either stay on Venezia or near the Mestre station. Další informace

Upon arrival we were greeted by a pleasant staff that spoke English very well. The gentleman that helped us get checked in was very helpful in explaining the services offered at the hotel and offered directions to the city center and to find an ATM. The hotel was comfortable although the bed was a little bit firm. Place is a cluster to get to. Paid over 30.00 euro for a 10 minute taxi ride to the Hotel from the Airport. We then took the bus into the City which we had to cross over a divided Highway and guardrail to get to. The Staff and the Hotel were very nice just a nightmare to get to. 10 minutes from hotel by bus check on the passes that give you access to not only buses but the boats on the canals and other transportation you can dive into venice but not much parking and a little costly

The rooms were a great size. Hotel was about 6 miles away from Venice (island) bus stop was nearby. Great price.

An old Ramada Hotel, it is a bit tired and needs a face lift but is only a short bus ride to Venice and you don't pay anywhere near the price for this hotel as you do closer to Venice. There is a fantastic and massive park next to the hotel if you like exercising or just want to go for a walk.

A very nice hotel when new, price was very good so it was very busy. A good hotle if you have a car that you need to park and then take the bus to Venice.

The staff are welcoming and helpful, and speak several languages (italian, french, english, arabic etc.). Recommend for anyone who wishes to visit venice with the family, but without having to shell out an arm and a leg for a clean, safe accomodation which is still convenient with good access.

Wir waren zufrieden. Saubere Zimmer, gutes und reichliches Frühstück. Das Personal ist bemüht. Man wird immer was zum bemängeln finden aber um diesen Preis wird man nicht leicht was besseres für einen Kurztrip nach Venedig finden.

Hotellet var ok men sengene var meget dårlige. Termoruderne var punkterede og fugtige indeni så vi havde svært ved at se ud. Værelserne bærer præg af at de ikke er vedligeholdt. 4 stjerner er overvurderet - 3 er mere rigtigt. Prisen er ok i forhold til beliggenhed da det kun tager 10 min med bus til Venedig. Рекомендую идти на остановку в сторону заправки - она ближе, чем та, что в сторону Венеции. Билеты можно купить на стойке администратора (стоит около одного евро). Таким образом до Венеции всего 10 минут […] езды на общественном транспорте. Причем отель в два раза дешевле, чем на самих островах. Номера в отеле стандартные 4* с одним минусом - запах старости от ковров. В отзывах других людей это тоже замечено. Très joli hôtel pas très loin de Venise (9km), parking gratuit tres important le stationement est payant partout, ligne de bus direct pour Venise à 300m. Das Hotel scheint nicht auf Familien eingestellt zu sein. Business, Kongresse oder ältere Paare sind hier eher willkommen. Der Standort mit der Nähe zum Bus/Damm nach Venedig und einige Kongressräume scheinen zur Berechtigung für 4 Sterne zu reichen. Einige Räume und Einrichtungen müssten dringend saniert werden!

Чудная гостиница, расположена в одной автобусной остановке от Пьяца де Рома. Соответствие цены и качества. Очень просторный удобный номер (не в пример гостиницам в самой Венеции), хорошая кухня в ресторане. Рядом огромный парк. Один минус - трудный переход к автобусной остановке (очень длинный) в Венецию, но можно заказать такси...

Good place, not far from the airport and direct way to Venice. Very good welcome. Comfortable and quiet, more for rooms on big park (San Giuliano), even if decoration is "old fashion". They also have a frequent daytime shuttle to Venezia. To be prefered for people with car (free parking), because not located in centre of Mestre. A única coisa que não gostei é que tinha um cheiro (mas leve) de cigarro no quarto e era para não fumantes. Todo o restante foi maravilhoso

Ved ankomst var der en rigtig god information. Værelset var rent og pænt og med aircondition. Der var et acceptabelt badeværelse, men med enkelte skader på væg og gulv og med mange skader efter fugt. We had a good time staying at Hotel Russot. Very friendly people and staff. Not to far away from Venice ... and only one third of the price of hotels in Venice ... Overall a very nice experience endeed!
