Umístění hotelu je ideální, jak pro toho, kdo jede autem /garáže nedaleko/,tak pro toho, kdo jede vlakem/do recepce od vlaku velmi blízko/.Na pokoji není nádražní ruch slyšet.

klasický, dobře vedený hotel, velmi příjemný pro návštěvníka, v centru Hamburgu. Pro blízkost budovy Opery výborné pro kulturní vyžití.

Hotel Lumen am Hauptbahnhof se nachází ve městě Hamburk (Saint Georg), v blízkosti jsou Deutsche Schauspielhaus, Hamburger Kunsthalle a Ulice Monkebergstrasse. V blízkosti jsou také Radnice a Kostel sv. Michala.

St Georg is situated between the main train station and the Alster Lake. It is home to beautiful old streets, as well as derelict alleys. Cheap tenements stand alongside five-star hotels including the historic Kempinski Atlantic, while Lange Reihe is lined with quality restaurants and boutique shops. Near the station are the Deutsche Schauspielhaus where actors perform and the Arts and Crafts Museum

Hotell is located at the street of Staindamm, which is one of the worst street in Hamburg city center. Hotell neighbourgs are sex kinos, erotic shops and casinos. On the street you will find women who are selling them self. Hotell room is tiny and untidy. There are about 30 steps from the street level to the elevator and about 20 steps more to reach […] front desk. Elevator do not reach hotell room level. It goes on the half floor. One must take about 20 steps up or down to reach room level. Customer service in the hotell is very arrogant and unpolite. Breakfast was the worst I have ever got in a hotell. This hotell should not even be called a hotell. Pictures on webpage do not seem to be taken on this hotell or if taken they must be from the suite. I would not recomend this hotell to anyone. Room stank of smoke, windows had mildew all around, no tv remote and the curtains were merely thin rags so all the outside light came through. Bathroom was clean although pokey. Area a dump. Avoid the train station area in general as another hotel was similarly poor. Germany usually has far better hotels for the money.

I was offered an attic room maybe simply I prepaid the room charge through Hotel.com. Had to climb the stairs with my heavy luggage. There was no smile from the reception( maybe the business is busy anyway for its price) The ventilation fan automatically turns on once the light is on and stops only 10 minutes later when the light is off. "Hotel OK, but the surrounding area not good"
Room was good and clean, breakfast was good, it was conveniently located near central station. However, the biggest problem was the surrounding red light area that was horrific with strange sounds during the night. ZIt did not feel safe at all to roam around at night. Despite the dubious surroundings (red-light district) the hotel is spotlessly clean and quiet, and extremely handy to the main station. Excellent breakfast, helpful staff. However the internet computer available to guests barely works.

"Only stay here as a last resort!"
This hotel was budget at best. The room stank of smoke and was very small. The hotel staff were ok but not that friendly. The area is not that pleasant, with a lot of sex shops and prostitutes. It is close to the station though (one bonus!) Wouldn't stay here again.
"Hotel Lumen - The worst hotel I've ever stayed in"
The hotel is in an extremely bad neighborhood with adult shops right across the street. At night I saw a couple of h**kers waiting outside the main entrance. The worst is the fact that the hotel has no ground/first floor presence. You have to climb 34 stairs just to get to the reception lobby (no elevators). And then more stairs to get to your room. […] So if you have heavy luggage, reconsider staying here. The room itself was small even for European standards. The 10" TV was a joke. The floor was sagging to one end of the room and the bathroom was not even big enough to be a closet. 駅から近くてよかったですが。喫煙希望だったが、禁煙の部屋にされた。。。 どちらでもいい方には関係ないですが。 場所が良かったし、部屋も広かったのでそこそこ満足はしてます。

Helt greit hotell i kort gangavtand fra sentralbanestasjonen. Overraskende bra rom, med moderne bad. Enkel men grei frokostbuffet. Inngangen starter med en trang og bratt trapp, da hotellet er fra 2 etasje og opp. Hotellet ligger i et område som ikke er egnet for barn.

Et rigtigt fint hotel med rygerværelser tæt på banegården og handlegaderne. Der er en del liv i gaden om natten, men intet at høre på værelset. OBS på at der er enkelte prostituerede i gaden.

Es liegt nah am Bahnhof, was von Vorteil ist. Das ist aber der Einzige. In der gesamten Straße reiht sich ein Casino, Erotikshop, Videokabinen nach dem anderen. Das Hotel selber ist nicht besonders sauber. Ich habe mich nicht wohl dort gefühlt.

Alles in allem eben ein Mittelklasse Hotel das sich nicht von deren Masse abgrenzen würde. Lage gut da Hauptbahnhof nur ca. 500 Meterentfernt. Frühstück auch okay, für mich ausreichend. Zimmer etwas klein, vorallem der Nassenzellenberich. Was gar nicht geht und ich nie verstehe: wieso sparen die Hotels immer bei den Matratzen? Bettrost und Matratze […] viel zu weich! Hotellet ligger tæt på banegården og indkøbsmuligheder. Værelserne var okay. De var rene og der var det der skulle være. Udsigten fra værelset var ikke noget at råbe hurra for, men hvad skal man også med en flot udsigt, når byen har så meget at byde på. Morgenmaden var meget varieret og der var det der skulle være. Vi var 4 afsted - den ene vegetar […] og her havde morgenmaden alt til ham også :-) Hotellet ligger ved siden af en sexkiosk, men det havde ingen indflydelse på kvarteret. Hotellet er ikke egnet til gangbesværede, der er for mange trapper op, inden man kommer til receptionen. Der er ganske vist elevator, når man er kommet op af de første mange trapper, men elevatoren stopper mellem etagerne, så man undgår ikke at skulle løfte begagen.

Vi fik en glædelig overraskelse, da vi fik at vide, at hotellet havde parkeringskælder til yderst rimelig betaling.

Synd at vise en så misvisende billedreportage af hotellet.Man kan kun blive skuffet og lidt chokeret ved første møde. Hotellet i forhold til prisen var fint, når det første indtryk havde lagt sig. Stort plus med gåafstand til centrum med butikker og Ubane.
Bra hotel i nærheten av Hamburg Hbf. og sentralt i forhold til shoppingmuligheter og sightseeing samt viderereise med tog i alle retninger. Jeg registrerer barnefamilier og voksne i lett blanding som gjester på dette hotellet.

Fint hotel beliggende midt i det hele.Her er sex shops, indvandrer butikker , gode kunstmuseer og buslinier tæt på. Cafeer og gode restauranter ligger nord for hotellet.

Vi bookede dette værelse et par dage i forvejen og jeg må sige at sjældendt har jeg oplevet så stor uoverensstemmelse mellem billederne på nettet og det faktiske værelse. Jeg føler mig i den grad snydt over et såkaldt 3-stjernet hotel. Værelset var så lille at det var umuligt for 2 mennesker at komme rundt i. ØV ØV ØV
