We were in a basement room for 2 nights. The floor/ceiling above us squeeked every time anyone walked across the floor above. If you chose this motel ask for the second floor. My husband and I left to visit with relatives after checking in. When we arrived back at the motel around 11 p.m. it was about 50 degrees in our room--heat was off. We turned it on and it quickly rose to above 90 degrees or warmer and would not cool off, turn off, nothing! We sweltered all night.
