Very nice hotel, everything to expected high Hilton standards but restaurant, breakfast and wi-fi can be expensive extras.

built into the hillside of the Helsinki peninsula with stunning views from restaurant and some rooms out over the sea and surrounds. Very clean and comfy rooms, great shower and equipped rooms - complete with trouser press, ironing board, mini bar and safe etc large flatscreen TV, ipod dock. Opening window for some fresh and chilly air! Wifi in rooms […] in unfortunately charged which is a real downside but free in reception and bar. A taxi ride from city, or short walk to the tram. Airport shuttle if you book. Taxi rank on site. Restaurant was excellent - with stunning views across the sea. Breakfast very good and was included in our rate. Surrounding area good - several foreign ambassadors residences, small harbour, cafe/bar etc but not a lot else in the immediate vicinity. Hotel also has a pool, sauna, gyms and conference suite. Would happily stay here again. 10 minutes in taxi to Fortum in Espoo. Další informace

Beautiful location. Very nice management and personal. Quiet and nice hotel. Great pool and sauna. Very nice room. So, it was a great pleasure to stay there!

Excellent hotel in a great location. Easy access to the centre of Helsinki via tram located close to the hotel. The restaurant is superb with a terrace over looking the gulf of Finland. The only downside was the swimming pool area which did not have any changing rooms.

NEGATIVES : Old carpets, squeaky doors which doesn't close unless You push hard. Smell of water pipes and shifty shower cabin in a bathroom. Tons of Duck p00p on a hotels private beach. And worst part - SAME food for a breakfast daily. You will hate it more and more with every single morning if You stay there longer then 3 days. Dinner in restaurant […] will cost You 100 EUR for two persons. Bed was changed 4 or 5 times during 1 week stay. Not daily. BTW: You won't be able to turn off air conditioner in Your room. Option was Just to change temperature. POSITIVES: Location is great, tennis courts in perfect shape. Was really surprised, Superb clay quality. If You want to tighten up Your belly area around has a great routes for jogging. Water to swim located next to hotel walls, in cold days swimming pool is useful enough. Great sauna, small gym with couple tread mils, no heavy weight. Kids and family friendly. Professional front desk people. Free of charge small vessel boat to use. Další informace

We liked the location as it is on the sea in a quiet neighborhood but only 25 minutes from the center of Helsinki on the #4 tram. There's also a small beach, an informal cafe and walking/cycling trails close by. Breakfast was also good. The main restaurant is ok - a bit pricey and the food good but not great. Nice room with part view of the sea. Easy to get into the centre by tram with the stop a 5 minutes walk away. Good breakfast. Could have done with some tourist information in the room together with a "what's going on" newspaper. Unable to turn off air conditioning, however maintenance staff helped direct the air flow away from the bed. Their service […] was very prompt. My husband and I had a lovely stay in this hotel. We had the most beautiful sea view from our window. We did long walks along the shoreline to the islands nearby and around the bay. We look the tram to the centre which was fun and only took 15 minutes. It takes you right to the centre, to the shops, market square etc. The service was good all round […] and the reception staff in particular very helpful indeed. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We had dinner in the restaurant overlooking the sea, watching the sun set. My husband had the most delicious reindeer. My choice of smoked fish salad was disappointing. I would expect to have a free use of wifi internet in any hotel nowadays - Hilton charge €10. You may be interested to know that the water in bathrooms in Finland is drinking water. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay in Kalastajatorppa. Další informace

Sure, its not a brand new hotel, and its a bit out of the way for central Helsinki, but you come away feeling so relaxed. Staff are very good, restaurant was excellent (even has reindeer), and its in a nice location with beautiful surrounds. And for the price its an excellent choice.

This is a very convenient hotel it one likes to spend the time by applying to the wide variety of options this astablishemnt can offer (mostly free) to its guests. This includes free borrowing of bicycles, kayak and a rowing boat as well as a small swiming pool and a private beach with a good sauna. I didn't find In Finland a place with a decent AC […] and this hotel is no exception. Regarding the breakfest, as i prefere not to consume milk products with meat, a choice was rather narrow-not from what might be expected at a 5 star hotel. The distance issue from the city center is easily resolved by tram #4 (thought it takes at least 20 min. to get to the center). The room itself was good and beds were very comfotrtable. In this day and age, I do not understand charging for internet service. Wifi was free in the lobby, but not in the rooms. Most reputable hotel chains have begun including this as a standard service, and I think Hilton should do the same. Everything was just perfect. The surroundings of the hotel were absolutely beautiful. Nice scenery to the sea from the room. We got a late check out without any extra cost. The hotel staff was very helpful.

This hotel was a little further out from central Helsinki than we had anticipated - about 40 minutes on the tram from the central train station. However, it is beautifully sited on a lake, with balconies and views over the lake from all rooms (the higher floors have better views). In fact, the hotel was so lovely that we decided to skip Helsinki that […] night and enjoy the relaxed environment, go for a walk by the lake. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which is excellent and has a terrace right over the lake. Our waiter was superb and we learnt more about Finnish culture from him in the space of two hours than from our guidebook. The sauna and swimming pool are also located right on the lake. Quite and nice location if you take a room with balcony and view to the sea. Rooms are big and soundproof. Bathroom was clean and towels where not that old. Breakfast was good, a lot of choice a big variety.

Hotelli yllätti majoittujat (ja majoituksen tarjoajan) korottamalla huoneluokkaa sekä toimittamalla onnittelutervehdyksen huoneeseen pyöreitä vuosia täyttäneelle. Jälleen yksi hieno kokemus tästä hotellista!

Hotelli yleisilmeeltään tasokas. Huoneet viihtyisät. Aamiainen ja aamiaistilat todella hyvät. Henkilökunta asiansa osaavaa ja ystävällistä. Sijainnista voidaan olla montaa mieltä. Meri ja muutenkin rauhallinen ympäristö sopinee loistavasti rauhallista lomailua kaipaavalle. Itse jäin kuitenkin kaipaamaan tavallisia lähipalveluita ( kahvila,kauppa,kioski,tms.). […] Muutaman sadan metrin päästä menee onneksi raitiovaunu keskustaan. Jonkinmoisina miinuksina on kuitenkin pakko mainita pari juttua, jotka vähän närästivät. Aulassa oli yksi ainoa asiakkaille tarkoitettu tietokone, jonka toimivuus oli onnetonta. Omilla tunnuksilla ei päässyt mihinkään ja näytön ja windousin päivitykset pahasti vanhentuneet. Ravntolan ruoka-annokset hintoineen ilmeisesti pääkaupunkiseudun tasoa, joka pääruokien osalta ei yleensä tarkoita aina välttämättä mitään hyvää. Eli hinnat korkeita ja annokset pieniä ja ainakin meidän "ankkamme" purukumia. Ravintolan atmosfääri meri näkoaloineen loistava. Tämänpä takia tähän ( niinkuin moneen muuhunkin hotelliin) jää kaipaamaan tavallista kohtuuhintaista pikkuruoka paikkaa.Etenkin tähän, koska täältä on pitkä matka esim. välipalalle minnekään muualle.
