Savoy Hotel – Kodaň

Hezké, i když starší pokoje, blízko centra, i snídaně velmi slušná, celkově hodnotím hotel Savoj jako solidní, kvalitou odpovídající ceně. Velkým nedostatkem byl momentálně porouchaný výtah, nedovedu posoudit, jak dalece vinou hotelu. Ale vláčet kufry ze čtvrtého patra.... Nosiče jako nouzovku mohli zařídit.

We got a great deal off of Hotels.com and the hotel was perfect for our weekend trip to Copenhagen. Conveniently located, good breakfast, newly renovated rooms, and friendly staff at the reception. I would go back!

I have stayed here several times and I have also used it for other guests visiting Copenhagen. It is a nice and clean hotel with a friendly staff and the breakfirst is just what you need with fresh bread, perfectly boiled egs etc. - Very good value for the price and better than other hotels in the area which often cost more per night.

All in all we were pleased with the hotel. However, they were a couple of incidents that the staff could have handled better. The kettle in our room didn't work. Instead of bringing us a new one I had to go and get it from the reception. A small thing but.. There was a problem with electricity in our room and we had to change the room for the last night. […] We got a much better room which was nice but they made us pack our things, go down the reception and then gave us the key to a room on the same corridor (4th floor). Nice hotel, let down by the size of our room, especially the en-suite - tiny! The pictures are clearly some of the larger rooms.

The bed was very good but the room was quite small but really you don´t need a large room. The breakfast was good - really we have nothing to complain about and enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The Savoy is in a great location, just two blocks from the main train station. The main elevator was not working during our stay, due to previous flooding. The old elevator was fun to use, but we had to take our bags up to the first floor to access it. The room was small, but had adequate storage. We would stay here again. Modest brick hotel : friendly & helpful personnel at the desk day & night. Rooms typical of a low cost college dorm room: spartan twin beds, very small but adequate bathroom. Even though this hotel is old, it is well maintained. Rooms are cozy and the staff is great. The hotel had a flood during our stay and they were still able to serve breakfast in the lobby and keep the electricity on in the rooms. Amazing!

The Savoy is an older well maintained hotel. It is conviently located within walking distance of the City Hall and train station which gives you access to the Hop On-Hop Off bus system. The price included breakfast is very good. Only problem is that it is a small hotel and reservations can be difficult in the busy season.

There were a few problems with the (tiny) bathroom. First, not all of the rubbish had been taken out when I arrived. The knob of the shower came off, and I had to press it to ensure it didn't fall off again when opening the tap. The water of the shower was slow to warm up, but once it had, it remained scaldingly hot for about half a minute even after […] I had turned the knob back to lower temperatures. The available soap was absolutely minimal. I also heard loud noises for about a minute right underneath my window early in the morning. The hotel is in a great location, less than 5 minutes from the central station and easy walking distance to the city centre sights. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was reasonable. However, the rooms have paper-thin walls which was really disappointing - bring ear plugs to ensure it doesn't affect you.

Hotel had excellent location, very close to central station and walking distances to main sites in town. Excellent location - within walking distance to the Metro, Tivoli, and several interesting restaurants. The staff was courteous, helpful and had a good command of English. Rooms were clean (beds were very comfortable), although small and slightly spartan. Noisy one night but it must have been someone in the hotel with loud TV or boom box since staff said there was no club nearby. Fine stay and fine breakfast. We were there 2 nights in May of 2011.

We stayed here in December 2010. The hotel is conveniently situated only a short walk from the station. The inital room we were offered was so small that we there was no room for our 2 suitcases. Upon request we were offered a "suite" consisting of a sitting room with TV and separate bedroom at a small additional cost - the extra space was well worth […] it. If you're looking for an American-sized hotel room, look elsewhere. The rooms in this hotel are small, which is typical for Europe, but you get a good value for your dollar (or kroner). The bed was very comfortable and the front-desk staff was always helpful and courteous. My biggest complaint would have to be the size of the bathroom, and specifically […] the shower. Ours was so small that we wound up stuck to the shower curtain the whole time, as the shower is probably only a little over 2 feet from front to back, sort of like showering in an RV. I finally gave up and just left the curtain open, and toweled the water into the sunken shower stall afterwards. Breakfast was included, which was nice, as food prices are very high in Copenhagen (at least to Americans). Bread, yogurt, oatmeal, corn flakes, fruit, and cheese and cold cuts were all provided, as were juice, milk, and coffee. While you won't be raving about the food, it will at least get you started and on your way, and the dining room area in the basement was nice with a lot of natural light. The TV was tiny, a 13 incher or so, and no cable, so we didn't really use it, but the wireless network was very fast, about 15Mbps or so. It did, however, seem to want me to reauthenticate every 15 minutes or so, which was very very annoying on my iPad, but at least the speed was good, and not having to pay an additional fee to use it was nice. In all, this hotel represents a good value, with a good central location in Copenhagen. If you're trying to visit this expensive city on a budget, and don't need a lot of space, this hotel will fit the bill. Další informace

I had a single room, with its own bathroom. It was quite small, but cozy and comortable. Everything just a litttle faded, a touch of dinginess, but to me this is the charm of a European hotel. in this price range. The shower was the typical Danish style of showerhead in the wall, plastic curtain to pull aorund, but no stall, so water tended to spray […] around the room somewhat. I was extremely pleased with the location, the price, the professional staff, the comfort of the room, and the charming amenities of this little gem situated right in the heart of Copenhagen.

Hotel Savoy is very near downtown Copenhagen. Close to many shops and restaurants. The room was decent and clean. Breakfast was quite nice. It was a decent place to stay in a decent sized room for a very convenient rate in Copenhagen. I would recommend this.

This is a great hotel with value for money. It's 3 star hotel. The receptionist were very welcoming. The hotel is very nice located and its very easy to get to/from the airport via the main station which is 8 min walk in a straight line. The room was very clean with always running hot water. This hotel is situated a short walk from the main station and is therefore very convenient for Copenhagen centre. But this does not mean that the rooms are noisy. Most, if not all, are situated well away from the main street and we enjoyed four extremely peaceful nights, even with the window open. The breakfast was more than adequate - cereal, juice, a wide variety of teas, coffee, yoghurt, bread and rolls with butter, marmalade, jam and honey, fresh fruit, ham, salami, cheese and perfectly cooked soft boiled eggs. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom small but adequate. There was no bath, only a shower, which worked well, and we could have done with more than the single bedside table that was provided. I don't think any of the rooms would have had a view - ours certainly didn't. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Copenhagen is extremely expensive and this hotel is good for basic needs and no frills. Room was clean and simple - single bed - nice sized bathroom. Location was perfect - 3 blocks from the Central Train Station - near to Tivoli Gardens. Free computer usage in the lobby was nice. Given this, I looked at numerous hotels both for the business stay and our personal visit. Hotel rooms run very, very small in Copenhagen. The company opted to stay down the street from the Savoy at the First Hotel Vesterbro and given […] the size of the rooms we upgraded to the Superior Double and were glad we did--nice hotel but the rooms weren't spacious, and they were $100 a night more than the Savoy. Let me just say we were extremely pleasantly surprised when we checked into the Savoy. Our room was actually bigger than the First Hotel Vesterbro! Front of house staff perfectly pleasant but they could do nothing about the tired, smelly and dirty room that we had. The carpet was damp and the resulting smell was quite over-powering even though the member of staff said she couldn´t smell anything - which I´ll put down to the fact that the smell of the whole hotel was slightly off and you get used […] to these things I guess! Alt virker til at være ny renoveret, men måske vil det være en fordel at flytte morgen buffeten hen i modsat ende, så har personalet ikke så langt at gå. Der burde være en skiltning som anviser til den nye elevator.

Питание в отеле действительно очень вкусное, сытное, свежее, но однообразное, но нас это не сильно огорчило так как можно взять все с собой, и у нас в номере было винного фруктов и йогурты..
