So pleased with my choice. Nice to not have to stay at Atlantis...ugh. It was a peaceful, charming, well-kept garden apartment. It was so clean and the people were very friendly and helpful. Nice to have the kitchen to be able to do my protein shakes and store water, breakfast yogurt and such, as food is so expensive there. I am used to 4 and 5 star […] hotels and I was so happy there! The only unpleasant aspect was the garden furniture....it was plastic, old and dirty. I enjoyed being outside and even laid out in the sun on one of the nice lounges. But it was sure not pleasant having coffee outside in the morning sitting at that old, dirty table. All in all I was impressed and very, very happy there. Enjoyed walking everywhere, but when I had to get really dressed up for evening, had to spend a lot of money on taxi fare, rather than have the shuttle service. It was a huge room, more of a small apartment, really. Would have been good for a long stay with a family. Not the most convenient for an overnight stay since its a 35 dollar ride to the airport each way. Downside, the whole room smelled strongly of bleach. At least that was some indication that it was clean.

My husband and I had a two night stay here before going to the Atlantis. Best Western was very clean. We had a living area, full kitchen, and king bed. There were 2 flat screen tv's in our unit. Jeremy, the manager was very helpful with things to see and do in the area. The only complaint I have is the server at the pool restaurant was inhospitable. […] Oh well, that wouldn't prevent us from staying there again. The location is convenient to Atlantis and Marina Village where there are restaurants and shoppiing. Even closer is a mini straw market, Dunkin Donuts, and Anthony's restaurant. Suite was wonderful with all sorts of nice amenities. Living room, kitchen, bedroom, great bed. Lush gardens, nice pool, cafe, laundry and convenience store. Room smelled slightly musty but that might be from the humidity. We didn't notice it after 30 minutes or so and only the first time we got to the room. I checked out of this hotel as arriving at 9pm and just overnight security on duty- the given room was next door to I think to the 'engine or water system room'. The noise was intolerable for me to stay in. I did request a room change however the manager wasn't around to do this unfortunately. I decided to go to another hotel. Regards Colin

It had a nice country feel too it.the room was great. Kingsized bed and a big living room with a kitchen and with a porch just wonderful. Only thing though the little mini shop was real pricy. Food was ok. And staff was friendly along with the security guards.

Housekeeping, Management, Security and even the taxi service drivers they referred us to never disappointed. It just goes to show that there are still great deals out there if you're willing to do some research. Nice hotel conveniently located on Paradise Island within walking distance to the Atlantis Marina with shops and restaurants, Craft Market with booths and stores for shopping, and pier where tours and ferry to Nassau originate. Facilities a bit older & dated, but worked fine, clean, & comfortable. Dishes, silverware, pans, etc. provided in the kitchen […] & were enough for basic meal preparation. Hotel has small (very small) store & restaurant (basically a window counter with tables nearby under an awning) where you can order food. We bought a few basics for breakfast & sandwiches & the next day hit the food store for more. Food stores within walking distance & close to the downtown area are pretty expensive, but cheaper than the hotel store. Biggest benefit was breakfast items b/c it allowed a good start to the day regardless of when we got up without having to spend $8 for a coffee and danish at the hotel "restaurant" or walk the 1/2 to 3/4 mile to a restaurant. The 2nd was having snacks & the ability to make sandwiches or small meals, and finally cold drinks when we were in the room. Having water or pop to toss in our bags along with snacks before heading out for the day's adventures was very nice as well. Bottom line, if you intend to spend most of your time at the pools or beach you might consider staying elsewhere since the beach is a 10-15 minute walk & the pools at the hotel are small. The hotel room had a full kitchen and I enjoyed saving about 80% on my dining expenses by cooking-in on most occasions. The hotel staff and security guards were always helpful in providing directions as well as suggesting activites. The ocean-side beach and Atlantis are only a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. I had some friends who were staying in the Atlantis and I was able to easily meet up with them. One activity suggested by the staff was to take the ferry across the bay to Nassau and then walk down to a not so crowded Junkanoo Beach where the water was beautiful and the swimming was great. it was great fun and the ferry only costs $4 or $8 round trip. I only gave this hotel a 4 because of its location. It is on a nice quiet street but has no beach access. We were able to walk over to Atlantis and visit their beach but everyone says it's a private beach although we weren't asked to leave. Our room had a sitting room, kitchenette and spacious bedroom with a nice rear patio with loungers and a table/chairs. The hotel is located on a quiet street, about a 10 minute walk from Marina Village and the Atlantis Hotel, 10 minute walk to spectacular Cabbage Beach, 10 minutes to a small mini-market and liquor store, and 25 minutes over the bridge to a larger (Super Value) grocery store. A couple of travel tips - there are two public access points to Cabbage Beach, one closer to Atlantis and the other further east beside the Paradise Island Beach Club; the latter has far fewer pushy locals trying to sell/rent things, and is further from the crowds (and incredibly beautiful). For fresh seafood, the Twin Brothers shack on Potters Cay just over the bridge into Nassau is incredibly good, reasonably priced and far closer to Paradise Island than the location at the Fish Fry (Arawak Cay, on the way to Cable Beach) - we went twice. Only stayed for one night at the end of October before leaving for a dive trip but the hotel was great. Not too many guests this time of year so there were few other guests to compete with for the dining area and swimming pool. All amenities were great and the staff is very friendly.

I chose this hotel based on others' reviews and found it to be the perfect spot for celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. The hotel staff was always ready to help in any way needed. The three pools were never crowded with people, and it was relaxing to lie in the sun or the shade by the pool to chat with others that were also enjoying their choice of accommodations. If you want an escape from the hustle and bustle in a spacious suite, this is a perfect choice. Our only complaint was that the poolside bar closed at 4 PM daily. However, it was possible to buy adult beverages at the shopping area and keep them in your refrigerator for later. The small restaurant by the pool served up great breakfasts and lunches and also closed at 4:00. We found good dinners at Johnny Rockets, Hard Rock Cafe, Anthony's, Columbus Tavern, Twin Brother's Fish Fry, and aboard the Majestic Lady Dinner Cruise. The units are rundown. Beams are rotting the bathroom setup was a little strange. There were ants in the kitchen. OMG The kitchenware was horrible. Inferior pink crockery, awful flatware (cutlery) it was lacking in cooking ware. I had called prior to going to get an idea of proximity to the beach and was given the impression it was 5 mins away. Not […] quite. The walk to the beach was lovely though. The staff were absolutely lovely and seem to be working with so little.
