Diamondhead Beach Resort and Spa is an all-suite beachfront resort located on Estero Island in Fort Myers Beach, Fla., steps from the warm waters of the Gulf. The resort is one-half mile from Fort Myers' entertainment district, also known as Main Street, which boasts boutiques, bistros and independently owned shops. Fishing charters are located one mile away. Bay Beach Golf Club, an 18-hole course with Bermuda grass and a variety of water hazards, is four miles from the resort.
Resort Features.
The 12-story Diamondhead Beach Resort and Spa offers fine dining at Chloe's Restaurant and Lounge, which features live piano music, fresh seafood and choice cuts of beef. Cabana's Beach Bar and Grill is a casual outdoor eatery overlooking the gulf and resort's pool. Business and social events can be accommodated in the resort's 10,000 square feet of meeting space, which includes an executive boardroom. Diamondhead Beach Resort and Spa offers a sundeck with a heated pool and cabanas, two spa tubs and lounge chairs overlooking the beach. Beach rentals and water sports include parasailing and jet skiing. Supervised activities for children three and older are available on weekends. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas.

Apartment-style suites feature kitchenettes with microwave ovens, mini fridges, dishes, cookware and coffeemakers. Dining tables with chairs are provided. Cable television is available in the living rooms and bedrooms. Bathrooms include bathtubs and showers. Towels and linens, housewares and a start-up supply of coffee and paper goods are provided. Private screened-in balconies offer sunset and ocean views. High-speed Internet access is available.

Chloe's Lounge - Specialty drinks and a spectacular view of the sun setting over the Gulf of Mexico. Appetizers, full menu available. Occasional live entertainment. Open from early evening until late evening.
Cabanas Beach Bar - Hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, salads, wraps, and specialty drinks served poolside with great views of the gulf. Open seasonally from mid-morning until early evening.

This Fort Myers Beach resort features a sundeck with splash pool and two spa tubs overlooking the gulf. The 24-hour fitness center includes free weights, a treadmill, and a stationary bike.
Personal watercraft and bicycle rentals are available (surcharge). Volleyball is played on the beach.
The 18-hole, par-60 Bay Beach Golf Club is located within four miles of the hotel.

"Great location on the Beach!"
The location, room and hotel amenities were all terrific. The staff are freindly and welcoming and very attentive to ensuring the guests are comfortable. Would strongly recommend it and will go back again.
"A decent walk from the "Time Square""
This hotel is beautiful but it is also about a 15 min walk to the busy "Time Square". There are a few small restaurants around the hotel but the main area is time square. The hotel's breakfast was pretty good but I wouldn't recommend anything else. Rooms were amazing and the 1 bedroom suite we had overlooked the ocean, city AND bay all on a huge balcony […] (tables with 4 chairs, 2 lounge chairs, side table and area to walk/move around). Service was nice, I wasn't bothered for a timeshare- they simply ask if you are interested and once you say no, there is not another word about it. This does seem to be a popular hotel for weddings on the weekend. I saw 3 in 1 day and although they were beautiful, it is hard to control 2 screaming YOUNG kids during these ceremonies. I was also disappointed about the chairs and umbrellas costing extra. We also went down the beach to another jet ski area that beat the price of the one at the hotel... overall I WOULD stay there again- very good overall. Další informace
"Right on the beach"
Stay at the Diamondhead was great. Felt that you shouldn't be charged for beach chairs if you are staying at the resort, but thats the only complaint i have. Locaiton was great and i loved our room. We switched rooms in the middle of the stay to a beach view and this was amazing.

"We loved Diamondhead!"
We really liked the location of Diamondhead in Ft. Myers Beach. The hotel was well run, clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance of the downtown area, restaurants and was right on the beach. We would definitely consider staying at Diamondhead again. Plus the weather was incredible the whole week we were there.

"Diamond Head Fort Myers Beach Flordia"
The hall ways were a little noisey. Any movement of carts or doors slamming could be heard throughout. O ur unit was overlooking the pool on a cool night you couldn't keep the doors open due to noise coming from the pool area. We have stayed ther on other occasions. The staff are all polite and helpful.

"Diamond Head Resort - best resort on the beach"
I have been visiting the Ft Myers area for over 15 years and this resort offers the best accommodations by far. The staff is freindly and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Every suite has a view of the beach and Gulf.

We got this last minute deal on hotels.com and don't regret it. There was entertainment right down the beach and many quaint little restrauants up and down the beach. I would definitely stay here again. And the beach was beautiful.

the 2-room suite was perfect for our family. The balcony is large and fully screened top to bottom which we liked because we have a toddler. The view was great from the 12th floor. The restaurant and pool bar were great amenities. This is the nicest resort in the area and within walking distance to restaurants. We enjoyed having a car to go to other […] restaurants, islands, etc. The pool was very warm so we were able to use it even when it was chilly outside. "Christmas Holiday"
My husband, 17 yr old son and I really enjoyed ourselves. Very nice accomodations w/ wonderful view of the Gulf! Nice pool & beach. No need for a car. Walk to all the restaurants (within 1.5 mile) or take the beach Trolly. The Trolly is clean & convenient. Hotel was very accomodating - we had 2 requests - they were taken care of immediately!

It was great being right on the beach and having a nice pool and cabana bar. I would recommend this for families as there are a lot of activities along the beach road and the suite was definitely big enough for a family of 4. I stayed here in September with my girlfriend and we thought the hotel was great. We got upgraded to a second floor beach front room for free (the wonders of late check-in) because all the other rooms were full. The screened in patio was the best feature next to listening to the waves at night in bed. I would recommend a beach front room on a low floor […] here to anyone. It is clean and kept well, but the rooms looks used - which they are. But location couldnt be better. Close enough and far enough away from FMB.

My 10 yr. old son and I were happy with the room except that the floors were so dirty that I had to wear my flip flops through out my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and Cloe's Restaurant was absolutely wonderful for breakfast and Thanksgiving Day dinner. They beach had flour-like soft sand and wave runner rentals. Unfortunately, the […] Wave runner dolphin tour excursion we signed up for was cancelled so we didn't get to do that. It may have been to windy. My wife, son and I spent four nights at this location and found it to meet our needs superbly. Our goal was to find an accommodation close to the beach and Diamondhead definitely provided it. The company that provide recreational services to the hotel (sailing, wave-runners, etc) has some maintenance issues with watercraft devices. I suggest you verify equipment is available and working if these items are important for your trip.

"Great Hotel"
The hotel is awesome. The shops, resturants and the pier, are just a walk away. The water is not pretty, it's brown and has a not so good smell, but you have sanibel and bonita springs really close and the beaches there are awesome.
We stayed here last weekend and loved it. For the price, we got a really great room with a beautiful view. The hotel suite was large, clean and very comfortable. The TVs in the room however need to go! Reminded me of something I recall having once upon a lifetime ago, thats how old they were!
