Everything was excellent. The only drawback was the heater which needed to go on and off throughout the night to keep the room warm and it woke us up everytime it cycled.

I booked a room because I needed to be in Syracuse for business and wanted to drive up the night before. The temperature when I got to the hotel was -3 Fahrenheit outside. I got my room key, and went up to the room, and when I arrived there, I found a room that was absolutely frigid. I called the front desk and was told all the rooms are like that, so I had to sit in my winter coat for two hours waiting for the room to reach a tolerable temperature to go to sleep. Room was freezing. Took all night for it to warm up even with the heater on high. Choose the option to have pick of room. Wanted King room, gave me 2 queens. Neighbors next door ending up in huge argument at 2 a.m. lasted well until 4.... Bathroom was so cold we kept door closed all night.

After reading the reviews I ddn't expect much but was looking to stay close to the Fairgrounds and this is very close. It was very clean, even the restuarant in the hotel was very good. Overall pleased and would stay there again.

No one was at the reception desk when we arrived. It was around 7:00 pm. The room was extremely cold. The heat was not on. It took forever to warm the room. My overall experience was just okay. The morning breakfast was just okay.

I was in town for a conference and I had early classes, during my stay there was a party in the hallway which kept me awake till 3 a.m. I think management should have had more control over the quiet time . I go to motels to rest not to party. I will chose different accomadations when I visit in the future.

Staff at front desk was welcoming, helpful and professional. Lobby neat and clean. Daniella's, the on site restaruant, was absolutely wonderful. Our room was bright, clean and well appointed. Housekeeping was excellent.

Room was spacious and had a large flat screen TV and a roomy mini refridgerator. The beds and linens were comfortable. I did have an annoying fly in the room which I finally was able to kill the morning of my checkout. Although the room faced the highway there was no highway noise noticed in the room. The breakfast was heavy on carbs and could use more fruit. The staff was very pleasant. The interior seems to have been updated recently. The steakhouse on sight seemed busy with local patrons so it is probably good although I was eating with friends and relatives on this visit. Was great while working at the State Fairgrounds during the State Fair opening weekend. Enjoyed the steakhouse downstairs. Housekeeping did a great job 'resetting' my room each day. Was disappointed that there was no pool and the cigarette smoke smell in my non smoking room.

We stayed here one night as we attended the NYS Fair & a concert there at night. Hotel offered free shuttle service to & from Fair, even when our concert didn't get out until midnight! We had to switch rooms twice because the rooms were not clean (bathrooms, sheets, etc). Eventually the owner or manager or some sort of higher up arrived and helped us get into a room which was clean. The staff was helpful, apologetic, and tried their best, but whoever the maid service was did a terrible job cleaning. There was no safe in the room, so when we went to dinner I placed my camera case in the nightstand of our room. The camera case contained our camcorder and camera. The next day, we had to get up very early to catch a train to New York City. We were celebrating my daughter passing her five year mark in completing her cancer treatment. In our haste to […] make our train I forgot our camera case in the nightstand. I e-mailed immediately from the train, and phoned as soon as we arrived at Penn Station in New York City, I called the hotel directly, speaking with the manager. I explained exactly where the case was and requested they courier it to our hotel in NYC and I would pay the cost, which they agreed to do. No-one had checked into our rooms (which was confirmed at the time), I believed there would be no problem. Three days passed and no package arrived. We were leaving NYC the next day. I called the hotel again, and spoke to the manager who “claimed” the camera case was not there, and that she had checked the room herself. She also “claimed” that she was in there before housekeeping even got in there. One of those statements is obviously false, as I knew exactly where the case was. Also, she had my phone number and my contact information at the hotel in NYC, and over that three days made no attempt whatsoever to contact me to inform me of the theft of my valuables. While the room was clean and comfortable enough and in a good location, the continental breakfast was horrible! No selection, just cold eggs and terrible generic cereals that had the consistancy of wood chips. The staff wasn't very helpful or friendly.
