The Sandman Victoria is a excellent place to stay if you do not mind taking a 5 minute cab ride or a 10 minute bus ride to downtown. I ordered […] french toast & fruit salad for breakfast at the restaurant - it took half an hour to prepare, made me late, and came tasting bitter, with bits of burnt onion stuck to the toast. The staff at this location went out of their way to make sure that our stay was perfectly enjoyable. The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool area was clean and well maintained. I enjoyed my stay at the Sandman Victoria the front desk people are very good, polite and quick to serve. It's a little ways to the downtown core, but the rate reflects that. The room was quite and clean. My only real disapointment was on arrival I was told I only had one bed, even though I booked for 4 people.
