The B&B is located about 10 min walking from Sorrento town center in a neighborhood of city citrus / orange garden. Rooms are on first floor of a huge renovated villa in a beautiful garden full of citrus fruits threes and flowers. The room itself is actually small apartment with separated bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Everything was very new and decorated in calming green colors. Rich breakfast is served in garden house next to swimming pool. Even though we stayed there only one night we really enjoyed our stay in Sorrento. I can recommended this place to everyone who enjoys quiet and relaxing accomondation.

A perfect example of how to run a family business. Lorenzo and his family know perfectly how to attend to a client. Heavenly services. Do not worry about the nearest beach being quite far off - the hotel offers free shuttles there and back. Enjoy the beautiful seaview as the hotel is located on a small hill. Excellent cooking, delicious morning croissants. Highly recommended.

We stayed there one night before early morning flight to Prague. Hotel is close to city center and airport too, a few hudred meters from metro station. Hotel is nice and rooms too. Perfect value for money we paid. Outside of the hotel there are old buildings, garbage. But it is common in Naples. No good for romantic week, but for on night good enough.

Hotel Cavour se nachází ve městě Neapol (Hlavní nádraží), v blízkosti jsou Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi, Katedrála v Neapoli a Kostel Santa Chiara. V blízkosti jsou také Národní archeologické muzeum a Nový hrad.

Hotel ideální pro obchodní jednání nabízí tyto možnosti stravování: restaurace a bar nebo společenská místnost. Right on the busy square opposite the main railway station of Naples, this hotel is quite an enigma. It boasts one of the only restaurants in the entire neighborhood, but with a limited menu. The room numbering is bewildering, with two elevators taking you to totally different parts of the hotel. "Convenient location but....."
Not a nice area! Hotel is tired reception area OK but rest of the hotel is in poor repair. That said, it is cheap and being located at the drop of point from the Airport "Alibus" service and a couple of hundred yards each of the train stations which provide reliable and cheap access to Sulphutara, Herculanium and Pompeii. "Full of character, handy location."
The Hotel Cavour is probably not for everyone but in many ways it reflects the city it is in. If you like a slightly creaky lift inserted in the middle of a staircase, antique radiators, big high ceilinged rooms and a slight air of it's best days being behind it, you'll feel at home. If you want modern lavishly equipped rooms it may not be for you. The […] Piazza Garabalid itself is a mess, but the airport shuttle stops outside the door, the train station is right there and the centro storico is a few minutes walk away. If you have a room facing the square the views of Vesuvius are fantastic and you can keep an eye on life in the square. The rooms are a little bare but clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are good and the restaurant serves excellent meals at good value prices. Some caveats: The week we were there a number of school groups were staying and this meant the restaurant was often block booked in the early part of the evening. "Acceptable Location Near Statzione Centrale"
If you are looking for a one night place to stay near the Naples train center, this is an acceptable place. The inside of the lobby was quite nice, the rooms are humble, but great windows which block out most of the Naples noise. Breakfast was simple.

"Really a nice surprise"
My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Cavour 4 nights. It's not new, but it's clean. The location is right near the train station and buses. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

I didn't like this hotel. Yes, you get what you pay for but I still didn't feel I got value for money with this severely outdated hotel. In terms of location it's easily accessed from the airport because the airport bus stops in front of it but aside from that there is little to recommend about the location. It's located in the grittier side of the […] town, expect to find street vendors in front of the hotel. Technically it's located on the edge of the old town but trust me, it's the other edge you want to be closer to. The hotel is incredilby outdated. It clearly hasn't been renovated since the 70's but to be fair I had no issues with the cleanliness or comfort of the room. I had a fine big room with a television. The shower was but a mere trickle or luke warm water. I found the staff to be aloof and impatient with requests for assistance. I wouldn't recommend the hotel restaurant, the food was ok but not sufficiently good to justify the price tag. As a mere place to rest your head then it would fit the bill but be aware that it is not located close to the places of interest to tourists, although you can walk there in 30 to 40 minutes. Des grands hôtels du siècle dernier, il reste les grandes chambres, les hauteurs de plafond impressionnantes, un certain charme : très bon rapport qualité-prix, bon accueil, situation très centrale

La chambre était correcte. Les lits étaient confortables et la climatisation indispensable fonctionnait parfaitement et était silencieuse. Par contre la douche était pratiquement inutilisable dans la mesure ou elle ne dispensait qu'un maigre filet d'eau ou bien de l'eau bouillante.

Het gaat allemaal nog nèt met die kamers maar daar is alles mee gezegd. Het wordt vooral bevolkt door (zeer vriendelijke) straatverkopers van Piazza Garibaldi. Het is er niet echt schoon, ook niet in de ontbijtruimte. […] Gasten betalen een euro voor 30 minuten computergebruik: echt niet van deze tijd! L'hotel est dans un quartier mal famé: c'est très sale, prostitué en bas de l'hotel et c'est très mal fréquenté. L'hotel en profite d'ailleurs pour vous proposer un parking très cher (18€ la journée). Reservé habitación para 6 noches en el Cavour, y sin muchas explicaciones nos las dieron en el Hotel Nuovo Rebecchino que está a la vuelta de la esquina. Lo molesto fue oir al recepcionista en forma jocosa pedirle al del otro hotel si tenía una habitación de las baratas, cuando lo elegimos porque ellos habían puesto una oferta, y claro porque era más […] barato, son las formas. Pero al final estuvo bien ya que el Cavour da directamente a la plaza, con parada de buses delante, y todo el follonazo de la plaza, en la que no apetece salir al atardecer. Mientras que en el Hotel Nuovo Rebecchino, los recepcionistas muy amables, la habitación normalita, pero limpia, digamos que muy lipia, y muy atento el servicio. Price vs. Quality this hotel is OK. Still I would no longer stay around the station area. Although we were vigilant, we still got robbed (corso Umberto, 9 PM, scooter + knife, purse snatched, in max 2 sec). Even the police asked us if our hotel reception did not give us extra warning about this area.

"Nära - historical centre, 20 min promenad hamnen"
Prisvärt o mycket centralt beläget hotell mitt i Napolis mest besökta platser för turister. Servicevänlig o trevlig personal som talar hyfsad engelska. Bra med parkering ca 2 kvarter från hotellet. Något olustigt kvällstid med bl.a mötesplats för prostitution på gatan utanför.

O hotel não é dos ruins, mas não merece 3 estrelas. É velho, mal iluminado e a higiene dos banheiros mal feita. E minha privacidade não foi respeitada na medida em que abrem a porta do quarto - com o hospede dentro- sem bater, na hora da faxina. Sua localização tb é ruim, e o café da manhã sem graça. Não voltaria nem de graça.

Tutto come previsto. Posizione dell'Hotel centralissima. La zona purtroppo senbra il Bronx ma per il tipo di pernottamento che ho fatto era per niente importante. Ero con la mia donna per un week end di coppia e questo è il posto ideale per una cosa simile. Tanto è vero che a fare la colazione eravamo tutti giovani la mattina. Comfortabele, ruime kamer, uitzicht niks( binnenplaatsje) maar toch ramen dicht vanwege airco en de hele dag weg. Voordeel van ligging kamer was dat we geen last hadden van vekeerslawaai. Prima ontbijt, goed avondeten voor redelijke prijs. Beetje gedateerd allemaal, en wat oud, maar de prijs is ernaar. Aanrader, ook vanwege de centrale ligging, bus […] vanaf vliegveld stopt voor de deur, bushalte naar vliegveld ook vlakbij. OV overal naartoe voor de deur. Buurt, behalve het plein waar het hotel aan ligt, is 's avonds niet erg uitnodigend. "Close to trainstation, from last century."
The hotel was 100 meters from the main trainstation. The hotel was an old building with penzione-style. Narrow corridors led to the room which had a very high roof and aircondition with defective thermostat which gave arctic temperatures when turned on. Small balcony with view of Vesuvio. The shower had some troubles with the cold-water, so showering […] was very warm. Wifi-access for a surcharge, computers available in the lobby. The walls of the room felt paperthin, there was girls in the room next door drinking wine and laughing. Not being able to sleep, we hammered on the wall until they went out on the town. Hotel Cavour er et hotel som fint lever op til kravene om at være et hotel. Men heller ikke mere end det. Værelserne og hotellet er af ældre dato, men fungerer rigtig fint som overnatningssted, da der er ikke brugt en masse energi på lækre detaljer. Vi havde kun en enkelt overnatning, og det var fint det ikke var mere end det.
Vi kom med tåg från Salerno och skulle flyga från Neapel klockan 11,00 dagen därpå. Passade bra med ett hotell i närheten av tåg och bussar. Kvarteren runt var ganska ruffiga. Man håller sig inne när det blir mörkt. Hotellet var helt okay för en övernattning. Sen tror jag att Neapel har mycket att erbjuda, men det för bli en annan gång.

Garibaldipladsen er utroligt larmende, men altandørene er så godt isolerede at man ikke hører noget når de er lukkede. Værelset var rigtigt stort med 5 m til loftet, badeværelset var lille. Rengøring og komfort var i orden. Lækker morgenmad, og utroligt venligt personale. Rigtig megen valuta for pengene. Varm anbefaling fra os.

malgré les dires, le quartier n'est pas effrayant du tout, en plus tres pratique pour les visites a pompei etc... (gare), bien desservi.

L'hotel est correct sans plus. Les trois étoiles sont un peu "italiennes"... La proximité immediate de la gare est un avantage rapidement gaché par le quartier qui est un peu louche à la tombée de la nuit. L'hotel vieillit mal (douche bouchée, clim bruyante, ascenseur poussif...). Mais on ne peut pas demander la lune pour ce prix là.

It does not get more central if you travel by bus/train in Naples. But it is also the centre of beggars and the square was incredibly dirty. The hotel was ok, but eat you breakfast elsewhere. Its an insult to the proud italian cooking traditions.

Vi ble mottatt på dette hotellet med veldig trivelig personale. Vi kom tidlig om morgenen og fikk sette fra oss bagasjen før rommet vårt var klart. Hotellet har ypperlig service, de hjelper til med det meste. Hotellrommet har en helt grei standard, men hver oppmerksom på at det ikke finnes kjøleskap på rommet ( litt vanskelig i varmen i juli måned). […] Hotellet ligger i et veldig trafikkert strøk og hvis man er var på støy kan man ikke sove med vinduene åpne, det ble tett i varmen. ( Juli). A hotel Nápoly egyik legjobban megközelíthető helyén található. A reptérről autóbusszal 15 perc alatt be lehet érni, itt van a központi pályaudvar, innen indul a Circumvesuviana Sorrentoba (útközben Vezúv, Pompei), itt, a Piazza Garibaldin van sok városi busz végállomása. A szoba berendezése valaha pompás volt, mára kicsit "patinássá" vált. A hotel […] személyzete előzékeny, a büfféreggeli pompás! Mindezekkel együtt szívesen ajánljuk a Cavour Hotelt. Další informace
"Prijs en kwaliteit niet in verhouding"
Personeel klantgericht. Ontbijt eenzijdig. Comfort van onze kamer slecht en niet schoon. Badkamerdeur kon niet afgesloten worden en het beetje water uit de douchekop maakte niet echt schoon. Airco leek wel een grasmaaier qua geluid. Geen last van andere omgevingsgeluiden.

La chambre donnant sur la rue du côté de l'hotel était calme, double vitrage efficace et possibilité de fermer les volets à l'interieur, donc pas de lumière du jour à entrer. Le petit dejeuner est le même tous les jours , choix limité. Hotel bien situé pour les transports (train, métro, bus). Personnel agréable.
