Hodnocení zadal host společnosti Hotels.com 26. 02. 2013V hotelu jsme přebývali přes jeden předvánoční víkend. Hromadnou dopravou je kousek od letiště a vlastně i od centra (10 - 15 minut). Pokoj byl účelně zařízen a čistý. Nebyl problém se anglicky domluvit o čemkoli jsme potřebovali s ochotnou recepční. Celkově za ty peníze velká spokojenost:). Jediná výtka k jinak krásné Kodani (i když během našeho pobytu byla trochu rozkopaná) je právě k hromadné dopravě, která je sice čistá, ale občas se nepřehledně "šachovalo" s nástupišti i časy. Jinak bychom se určitě moc rádi vrátili na delší dobu a klidně do stejného hotelu.

Hodnocení zadal host společnosti Hotels.com 12. 01. 2013We paid 300 DKK for taxi from the airport, which was too much and made it a large portion of the price our stay. The hotel is nice and staff girls very friendly but announced that we were UPGRADED to a room we did not book and we did not really want... (2 single beds)... OK. Interestingly, at night, there is staff working who does not speak Danish (!), only English. There was a leak in the lobby, damping the chair and carpet; in our room, the water basin would not drain; the alarm clock had antenna cut off, so it did not work; the stereo did not have ANY antenna, so it did not work; television was paid channels only, so we could not watch. But these are just minor flaws, it was a nice place near the dock which we needed. The kitchen amenities worked OK. Check out process was rather weird, just handed the key and no final bill was given. No extra charge appeared on my credit card bill. Breakfast is very nice but too expensive if you need to pay it extra. They give you a card if it comes with your room. We needed to wait in the lobby for check-in time and also after checking-out, before leaving.

We booked a premium room which was small than expected. As the radiator in the bathroom leaked, we were moved into another room which was bigger. The room was very cold (16C) and the heating in the room was not working. I had to wash one of the cups in the room before it was used as it was dirty. I am now a regular at the hotel and enjoy the hotel services and staff more every time I stay. My flight from Heathrow was delayed over two hours, so I arrived for check in at 2am. My room key was ready and I had barely to break stride to check in on my way straight to bed. Centrally located. Staff nice. One elevator is always open on each floor. Gym round the corner for use which was nice (seperate building). Breakfast nice. The room I was in was small, but then it came at a very good price. I'm from UK so was surprised by this business of two quilts on the bed. We staid at Grand Hotel Garden Malmö for a weekend. We chooses this hotel primarily cause the central location, couple of minutes walk to the city and central station. As earlier reviews, the breakfast was good and had everything I wanted. However we had to wait to get a table and it was a bit loud noise inside the breakfast room. The bathrooms was under all critique, and looked more as a 2-star hotel bathroom (Small, and low-cost materials such as plastic mugs etc..). Overall impression, more lika a 2 star hotel, where the rooms felt like rooms in a student corridor and poor front-line service at the reception, but still good location and comfortable beds. I found this hotel to be comfortable, but lacking charm. A very good feature was the bowl of fresh fruit always in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was quite good and always well stocked. The breads were wonderful. The ambiance was perhaps very Swedish. That to me means sparsely funished rooms, with no drawers in which to put one's things. I prefer the […] charm of a few antiques and a bit more color. But for a person who likes minimalist decor, this might be a good choice of hotel, The location was very good. "Grand Hotel Garden, Malmö, Sweden"
We found the Grand Hotel Garden in Malmö through hotels.com and so had little prior knowledge about what to expect. At first the red carpet outside the hotel was a little worrying as we were arriving with two young children who had been in a car for 7 hours, but our worries were without foundation. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel suited […] for families and at breakfast the next morning we discovered that many other children were staying there. Located in central Malmö the hotel doesn't have its own car park, but it is surrounded by parking houses making it easy to find a nearby space.
