The staff at this hotel is what made the difference for us! It seems like customer service is a lost art, but not here. Every person was pleasant and attentive. Any request has handled quickly, efficiently and without fuss. the older gentleman at the front desk when we checked in (2/16/13) and the cleaning lady (2/17/13) (she had a ponytail and glasses) were super friendly and kind. the other workers we came in contact with were not friendly at all. the cleanliness of the hotel was great but when I took a shower, I barely had hot water and there was no water pressure. They eventually figured out that they had been unknowingly moved to another room without an explanation that made sense. "Very rude desk staff"
When I checked in, the man behind the desk was very condescending and rude once he saw that I had gotten my room through Expedia. He told me I should have gone directly to the hotel website and I would have gotten a better price. when I inquired about places to go to bathe in the hot springs, he told me I probably wouldn't get in anywhere and I should […] have planned ahead as it was late in the day. I did get in somewhere even after that cheering pep talk from the desk person. Also, it was the only hotel that didn't have a luggage trolley available when we checked in. His response was, "If it's not over there, someone else is using it." Not, "I would be happy to call you in your room when one is available." Not the best customer service. The rooms were pretty nice, but not soundproofed very well. We had very noisy neighbors with young children. I won't be staying at this particular hotel again. Hotel was clean but somewhat out of the way , had to go through downtown traffic to get to most destinations. The Comfort Inn & Suits in Marion, was nice, clean and the continental breakfast was good; The Comfort Inn & Suits in Hot Springs, Ar, was very clean, very comfortable bed and a very good continental breakfast...; we got there about 3 h before the time to check in and they accomodated us right the way. Very friendly people and we will stay there again […] ! I cannot say the same thing about Quallity Inn in West Memphis..it was clean, the breakfast was horible...and not friendly people there at all; the lady that was there in the morning of April 2nd 2011, was not friendly at all; the little food they had there for the continental breakfast was horible and mostly gone by 8.45 am; the lady that was there, was barely moving and she seems she did not care at all... We had a great experince at this hotel. All the staff was very nice. We were even given complimentary tickets to the horse races and the Sunbelt tournament that was going on while we were in town. There was construction going on during the stay. They also put us in the middle of a group of young kids who were running up and down the halls all night.
