Hotel is enough if you don't look for much comfort and luxury, but to have a place to stay. The staff - willing and helpful, nothing but very nice. The price you pay is definitely worth it.

Příjemný hotel přímo u letiště. Klid a teplo, ráno skvělá snídaně. Vše je Ok, jen pro přemístění do hotelu je vhodné vzít prvně taxí (cca 20 EUR). Nebo jet BUSem, linka 35, zastávku si nepamatuji. Pan či paní domácí poskytnou informace jak se dostat autobudem do centra nebo na letiště. Servis - skvělý. Klid a pohoda. Internet na pokoji zdarma. Hotel se nachází - na jednu stranu hned přímo u letiště, na druhou stranu je třeba letiště objet nebo obejít (pozor, je to cca 7 km). Je to opravdu farma, nebo bývalá farma, na první pohled se člověk zalekne, avšak hned po vstupu do hotelu na něj čeká pohoda a klid rodinného hotelu. Pro cestující s autem je to bez problému. Pro ty, co cestují bez auta doporučuji na první cestu taxi a pak také vše ok.

V hotelu Gentofte jsem dosud pobýval dvakrát. Poprvé služebně, podruhé s rodinou. S úrovní služeb, čistotou a vybavením hotelu jsem byl při svých pobytech spokojen. V hotelové restauraci je vždy pečlivě připravena vynikající snídaně. V hotelové restauraci bych při večeři uvítal větší výběr jídel a jejich rychlejší přípravu. Čekali jsme na jídlo dosti dlouho.Úroveň personálu je vysoká, ochotně poskytují informace a starají se o chod hotelu.Celkově bych hotel doporučil dalším hostům.

The Tivoli Gardens amusement park, founded in 1843, makes this area the liveliest in the city. The park boasts one of the oldest wooden roller coasters still in operation, and the world's tallest carousel. The Pantomime Theatre dates back to 1874. Other attractions include the Hans Christian Anderson Castle, the Glass House, and the Concert Hall with its aquarium lounge. Outdoor concerts take place here in summer.

"Pleasant suprise"
The hotel staff were all friendly and helpfull and we were pleasantly suprised over the food service, breakfast buffet, afternoon coffee and cakes and evening buffet meal; all included in the room price! There was also a cosy lounge area to sit and enjoy and relax along with bowls of fresh fruit to nibble on. Nice homely atmosphere.

This is a cozy little hotel with a friendly staff. Breakfast is provided as well as a light dinner buffet. I enjoy this as a single traveler. I stayed for a weekend with my girlfriend in the Clarion Hotel Mayfair in November. The hotel is in a great location close to Tivoli Gardens. The rooms are pretty good although small, but this is common in Copenhagen. The included breakfast buffet is fairly good but not an extensive selection, the free evening buffet is very limited and very small […] portions. This hotel was easy to find and close to the railway station. It is quiet and the breakfast and evening buffet are excellent. room on street side was noisy and bright at night and if you cose the curtains it was too hot. Meals were a terrific value--breakfast and supper were plenty.

"First experience in Denmark"
On the plus side, the people in Denmark and at the hotel were friendly, helpfull, and quick to provide service. The hotel has two contiguous 'salons' where you can meet, read, sip coffee or tea. Clients kept talking about the convenience of having the hotel restaurant and how food was expensive elsewhere. I did not share their hipe, as I felt the food […] was more than ordinary, the fruits too ripe, and the menu desperately short and repetitive over 5 days. The room was very small, and the 'desk' did not appropriately allow any sort of work. The free WiFi was slow (sometimes too much to hold a conversation on Skype, no video), and you could connect only one iThing at a time thus forbidding syncs. The drain of the shower filled and the shallow basin overflowed; the T° of the hot water was barely body temp, and it took forever to raise from the magma layers deep under the crust of the earth if you were on an early schedule and were the first to open the hot water tap. To be fair, it is my first stay in Denmark and I cannot compare. Would I go again? I would probably want to compare. Další informace

No real complaints about this hotel. Room did not have a/c, and I love the room to be ice cold, so this was my only major issue. Room was fine for the one night we stayed there. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We did not try to the buffet downstairs so I cannot offer an opinion on that. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

The Mayfair is perfectly located for the central station and Tivoli gardens no more than 5 minutes walk away. The breakfast buffet is ample, and the evening supper meant we did not need to look for a restaurant at night - very handy as Copenhagen is not the cheapest city I have visited. "Great central location, very friendly"
Caught the train from the airport to Copenhagen's main train station, and walked to the hotel within 5 minutes. We arrived after 9pm but the receptionist was still able to offer us something to eat and was extremely welcoming. Free internet terminals and Wifi-access was a bonus and plenty of tea available downstairs when coming in from the cold Copenhagen […] air, (and even some cake)! The lap dancing club across the road didn't bother us and isn't in keeping with the rest of the road, with several other hotels and restaurants lining it. Very cosy lounge downstairs was a nice spot to relax in, especially as the room was on the small side, however it was very well presented and clean, nothing fancy, but fine for a short city break. The free evening dinner isn't huge, but we tried it one night as we'd already had a large lunch and couldn't manage another mighty Danish meal! Being a mere 5 minute walk from the central train station meant the hotels location was ideal in both getting around the city and travelling to and from the airport. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and were able to help us concerning sight-seeing as well as with hotel business. The food offered is also a real life-saver in such an expensive […] city, a breakfast buffet with a variety of hot and cold food setting you up nicely for a day of exploring, and an evening buffet involving a hot main accompanied by various cold foods and desserts helping round off a busy day out. Fresh fruit and drinks are also available throughout the day which is also a real bonus. All this is included in the price of the room. The hotel itself was of a very good standard, the room being small but comfortable, and the decor being modern yet homely. The only downside was looking out of the window resulted in staring directly into another, but this is only a small detail. The walls are also rather thin, but come late evening there was very little noise at all. "Very small room"
We liked it that we were given a option of what floor our room could be as we prefer either the ground or 1st floor and whether to face the courtyard or the street. However, it was a very small room and the bathroom was the smallest I've ever seen. Thinking back, I now wished we had asked for an upgrade as the room size was very impractical for two […] people. Luckily the shower had a floor ridge so that the water didn't run all over the bathroom floor like many hotels in Europe. The reception staff was very helpful. Easy walk from the main train station (skip the stilettos though). Designer room and bath decor, extremely pleasant public spaces. Free wi-fi, food at odd hours if you're into it. We arrived early AM and room was not ready. We had a choice to wait till 2:00 and they would check our bags, or we could take a lessor level room on top floor that was ready then. This allowed us to have breakfast, which more than made up for the lessor room price. The room was small but "very quaint". The food (both breakfast and evening) exceeded […] our expectations. This hotel is a gem. Not only is it clean and comfortable, but it has lots of charm. It is centrally located a short walk from the train station and Tivoli Gardens. Reasons are the following: a) Location is good if you like prostitues as they are outside the building. b) When we arrived we found an empty bottle in the room and blod on a pillowcase.
