"rooms need maintenance"
well overall the hotel is average, like they say you get what you paid for. The room was nice but it had minor things that need maintenance, for example on the ceiling there was water damage and the hall ways had a weird odor, but other than that the hotel was pretty descent.
We were very happy with our stay in Austin. The clerks at the main desk were helpful with directions. I also forgot a bag, and called them, and immediately, they said they had found it and would mail it to me. This was on a Friday, and on Monday, when I returned home, it was here for me. I was just a little concerned as I had my e-reader tablet in it, […] and my Bible, and I wondered if it would all be there, and it was. Very honest people. We would definetely stay there again. NICE hotel. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Friendly desk staff. Only 8 minutes to the convention center. Terrific breakfast.
"Worked well for 4 adults"
We have family in Austin and have stayed at other hotels in this area before but have not been happy with them (mostly due to poor upkeep). We needed a room this time that would fit 4 adults - A pair of parents and 2 adult children (Boy - 23 and Girl - 28). Usually this arrangement means renting 2 rooms, but we were hoping to avoid that this time and […] the Comfort Suites gave us a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. For the price it certainly covered our needs and was cheaper than renting 2 rooms at the least expensive hotels in the area, and the accommodations were fine for our purposes. The hotel is in need of some minor renovation, but the room and hotel in general seemed to be relatively clean and cared for. The breakfast provided had the standard stuff (ie. muffins, cereal, fruit, etc.) and there was the option to make waffles fresh but we didn't take that opportunity. It is located right next to the interstate but our room was on the opposite side of the building so noise wasn't an issue. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and we didn't feel as though we were in a rowdy neighborhood. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a standard room to maybe spend a little down time in and mostly just sleep. If you're looking for a hotel that is much nicer, plan to spend way more money than you will here. Další informace

My stay at ur hotel was great.The room was big and the better than the one my daughter wanted to stay in.She call and didn't like the one she was booked in and change to the one i stayed at.The hotel was close to the family party I went to AUSTIN for.I like the location because it was near the main highway and that made it easy to leave without getting […] lost.Had great time and the hotel stay made it better.Next time I travel anywhere I plan on staying at a COMFORT SUITES if there is one in the city.Thanks for a great night sleep. Our room was at first glance "all right," but then I went in the bathroom. The bathtub was the filthiest tub I have EVER seen!

Hotel was very clean and was easy to get to from the road. I was really happy with it overall and would for sure stay here again. I had a comp. breakfast that feat. yogurt, biscuits, cereal,sausage,fruit. The omelets reminded me to much of hospital omelets but that's just me. Everything else was yummy. The receptionist lacked any kink of personality. Not the friendly face you would want to see as you check in. The room was clean. The hotel was older. waffles are always great! lol

"Needs Improvement"
The hotel was hard to get to, you had to go through neighborhoods to get to it, even though it is off the highway. Good for the money. Carpet was very dirty, and had to wear socks. The sleeper sofa only slept one, it was a twin bed. We were there just 2 nights, so it worked for us. Pretty old hotel, needs updating. Computer in lobby came in handy. I […] would stay there if I was on a very short trip with only 2 people, and no children. Restaurants are not that close. The cab to downtown was very reasonable, about 12.00 for 3 people.
