Hotel je malý, moderně zařízený, svěží design. Pokoje jsou poměrněmalé, ale naprosto dostačuící a účelně zařízené. Naprosto čisté, žádná plíseň v koupelně apod. Hotel leži na trase A metra, 4. stanici od TERMINI. Od metra (Re di Roma) 3-5 min. chůze, tzn. ideální poloha pro poznání Říma, přitom již mimo absolutní centrum - tedy cenové výhodnější, méně ruchu, hotel je umístěn v typicky rezidenční čtvrti navazující na bezprostřední centrum města. Nedaleko - cca 5-10 minut chůze se nachází také stanice (TUSCOLANA) příměstských vlaků. Personál je velmi vstřícný, neustále zdraví, děkuje, přeje pěkný den, uklízí... snídaně naprosto dostačující, chybí snad jen zelenina, jinak vše. Možnost stravání omezená, nedaleko je pizzerie, nebo doporučuji řešit v centru. Příp. nakoupit a pvečeřet na terase hotelu.

Rome’s central train station, Termini is the entry point to the city from Fiumicino Airport, and is an impressive modern architectural sight. Between here and glamorous Via Veneto, there are several interesting places to visit. The Palazzo Barberini is a superb baroque palace, the Terme di Diocleziano was the city’s largest bath complex and the Church of Santa Maria della Concezione is remarkable for its Capuchin monks’ crypt.

We stayed for two nights in August. This hotel location is not quite in the real heart of the city but is a short cab ride or walk to all the main interest points. Concierge very good in helping choose restaurants that suit our tastes. Front of desk staff and Room maintenance are weak, maybe it was lack of interest due to the August low period. General […] manager excellent in recognising issue and making recompense though. Rooms are gorgeous, with beautiful frescos over the beds. Very expensive and doesn't quite have the real sense of luxury that a true Grand Hotel should have (e.g. Hotel De Crillon in Paris) but not far off. Další informace
"St. Regis overpriced"
Rooms are very small - not what I would expect for such an expensive hotel, supposedly the best or one of the best in Rome. Nothing extra included - they want to charge you for Wifi, breakfast, etc. Room was dusty. And they tried to charge us extra for "city taxes", something that we had already paid up front when we booked.

Location fine, clean hotel with nightly turndown, prompt room service, friendly staff. Concierge directions as though we knew the city, and because of this we couldnt find two of the recommended eateries. Recommended Restaraunts all outstanding. Room too hot, and no matter how much we turned the thermostat down we could not cool the room.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel over the Christmas holidays. The rooms were elegant with very comfortable beds and the staff was approachable, helpful, and friendly. The concierges provided us with great restaurant choices including a memorable New Years Eve dinner. The location was near the train station and fairly close to the Via Veneto and […] Spanish Steps. "Beautiful hotel!"
We LOVED staying here... altho it's location is not as great as being at the top of the spanish steps, the hotel makes up for the location any day! The lobby is gorgeous, fun upscale bar in back of lobby, gorgeous and spactious rooms. We LOVED everythign about this hotel. Can't wait to go back! Definitely worth the extra $!!!

The hotel is within walking distance to the most popular sites in Rome: The Spanish Steps, the Forum, and the Colisseum, as well as the main train terminal station. The hotel is lavish and beautiful with large rooms and bathrooms. The price is high, but you are paying for the five-star rating. While the restaurant/room service is expensive, again, […] you are paying for the five-star service. And the food is pretty good with generous portions and lots of extras (bread/butter, cookies, etc.) The staff is exceedingly friendly from the bell-boys to the reception to the concierge. It is on a busy street, but not a main street. Can be a bit noisy if on the lower floors, but the heavy curtains cut out most of the noise regardless. We just can't say enough about the absolutely stunning luxury and ornamentation of the St. Regis. The staff was extremely accomodating and spoke very good English (a relief for us as we did not speak Italian very well). This Hotel set the trip for us and made a wonderful start to our vacation. We arrived at the St. Regis for the beginning of our honeymoon. As we came by plane overnight from NY, the staff had our room ready for us when we arrived at 9am. The hotel is truly perfect. It has an old world charm, beautiful decor and exceptional service. The bedrooms are large, the beds comfortable and the amenities exceptional. The only possible […] drawback is the location. Located near Piazza Republica and the Train Station, it is slightly out of the way. However, we did not mind the location all that much. Rome is quite large and the sights are scattered throughout the city so there may be no perfect location (although possibly near the Spanish Steps).
