Jsme mlady par a s hotelem jsme byli spokojeni. Velikost pokoje je dobra, dost ulozneho prostoru, plne vybavena kuchyn je obrovskou vyhodou. Poloha hotelu je take ok. Jen na ty hezke plaze jako treba Clearwater beach je to celkem z ruky, pokud nemate k dispozici auto. Cesta autem trva cca 15 min a tento hotel je v celkem klidne lokalite. A vyhodou je, ze je to kousek od letiste, centra Tampy i prilehlych plazi. Pokud ale nemate k dispozici auto, tak bych urcite zvolil jiny, bliz k plazi. Jinak hodnotim skvele a jediny problem je, ze wifi na pokojich je velmi slaba, takze pokud chcete dobre spojeni, je lepsi si vzit pc nekam pobliz recepce, kde funguje bez problemu.

Jediná potíž byla v tom, že recepce hotelu funguje pouze od 9-18 hod,uvedený telefon v kontaktech hoteles.com byl nesprávný,takže jsem museli nocovat 1.noc jinde!!!Jinak celkový dojem perfektní

This hotel is a great place for a getaway. Lovely setting and convenient to the Sponge Docks and other area attractions. The staff was friendly and very willing to accommodate. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the room televisions and add more channels (HBO, etc). - the TV in our room was a tube model from, at least, 12 years ago. Time for a flat […] screen makeover. Clean, inexpensive, excellent restaurant, excellent service, very convenient location, nice pool, free wifi, included continental breakfast well-stocked throughout breakfast hours
Staff were very nice, very accommodating. Hotel was fine. Likely experiencing a bit of "star inflation," Its a straightforward family-type hotel, nothing fancy. The "lake" is a cay that provides access to the larger lake. We had a better view of the lake by walking directly down to the shore.

Close the door to your room on Rte 19 and you are truly in a resort location. Overlooking Lake Tarpon, the resort offer great views, a clean, comfortable room and fabulous service. "Great hotel for the price; conveniently located"
The hotel was great; breakfast offerings not so much. But that isn't what controlled our decision to stay there. Individual balcony with its view was absolutely wonderful and the staff were so very professional and so extremely pleasant and accommodating. I'd stay there again!

We stayed for a week and were very pleased with the room. This location had a restaurant and it was very good, too. The room had a refrigerator but no microwave (that would have been nice), but overall we were happy.

Passing through town on business some months back, I had the pleasure of discovering Lake Tarpon Resort. The friendly staff made me feel right at home. Clean comfortable rooms with a water front view, sparkling pool and jacuzzi, restrauant and bar on site, what more could you ask for?? Oh yes, great location and price.

Traveling for work, I stay at LakeTarpon Resort almost every week. Glenn at the front desk is always friendly and helpfull. The rooms are big and bright, with a view of the water. Pool and jacuzzi are always clean. The holel is older, and could use a bit of updating, but it is a great value as it is. We enjoyed our stay here very much. We had three couples and three rooms. Our housekeeper went above and beyond with towel animals in each room. We all had 6 different ones in the bathroom the 2nd day! We were just four miles from the gulf. The hotel straddles a canal and we had a very good lunch in their cafe. We will go back.

Glad to find a place but very below average hotel. CONS - Sheet just laid across bed, tub holds water when showering so you are standing in 3 inches of water, cars passing on Hwy 19 all night, and limited tv stations. PROS - convenient, available, and pretty nice having a bar area on lake tarpon. Parking plentiful.

I was working in the area, and took a chance on this hotel. When I arrived I was pleasently suprised at how nice it is. Glenn greated me at the front desk. He is polite and cheery. The room was clean and has a balcony, a nice touch. Pool and jacuzi are sparkling clean. I ended up there the next night as well, I will definately be back again.

"Just what I needed"
This hotel is right on the main road that gets you everywhere. When you get into your room, you're away from everything. The balcony overlooks a serene area on Lake Tarpon and the room is spacious and clean, and the beds are so comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again!
"Lake Tarpon Resort an enjoyable stay"
Recommended. We enjoyed our three days here. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room comfortable with a balcony overlooking the lake. The integral Downtown bar and restaurant was very pleasant serving a typical American menu. The only draw back was that the wifi could only be accessed around the reception area.

"Great little place! Late booking and very good!"
We booked an hour before arriving late where other hotels were either booked out or super expensive. We were warmly welcomed by the overnight receptionist (Glen I believe is te gentleman's name), and he organized a great room on the fourth floor. The hotel we booked before was a dump and we started to get sick from being there do it all worked out […] as a blessing. Simple, clean happy people around. We had a really good stay at Tarpon Resort The staff was really great and very helpful to all our needs Although the resturant not so much our waitress totally messed up all the orders and there was only 4 orders...Overall we will be staying there again very close to all routes we needed to go

Our stay at Lake Tarpon Resort was very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very large, and the pool and spa area was well kept and pleasant to be in.
We arrived about 8:pm. Penny checked us in. She was so, so nice. Our room was dated but clean. The bed was very comfortable. I didn't find it to be noisy as some have complained. There was a nice continental breakfast in the morning and everything seemed fresh and appealing.

"Lake Tarpon Resort- you get what you pay for"
The hotel was reasonably priced, but does not have the feel of a "resort," as the name might have you believe. The staff was very friendly, although not entirely professional. The woman that checked me in suggested that I take a room closer to the lobby rather than a room with a better view, in light of the fact that I was a woman traveling alone. After […] seeing the look on my face, she proceeded to assure me that they were not in a "bad," area but she felt better having the ladies closer to the lobby. I am not really familiar with the area (although the motel is on a busy road), so I cannot speak to safety of the area in general. Ironically, the lock was broken on the room she put me in. The room was large, and seemed clean. The blanket on the bed had a hole from a cigarette burn, which bothered me. No local stations on the TV, but you do get Showtime. The free contintental breakfast consisted of a small assortment of english muffins, bagels and muffins-- it also included cereal and a few choices of fruit. The restaurant/bar at the location seems to be "hopping," at least on Friday night, so parking was not ideal. You can tell that they have skimped on some of the little things, which can make a big difference in experience for guests. For instance, the buttons on the phone were not labeled so I had to guess at how to call the lobby, and how to make outside calls. All in all, this motel makes for a convenient place to stay for a day or two, but I would not suggest it as a vacation spot. Další informace

The bed was very comfortable. It wasn't as noisy as we thought it would be. The decor was dated and kind of drab and the cleaniness was so-so. The door was hard to get latched. Had to slam it. Also, the toilet kept running and dripping all night.

Our dog was a welcomed guest. Clean room and plenty of towels. Comfortable pillow top bed. Room temperature was perfect. Nice patio overlooking marina. Hotel dockside grille was very good with reasonable prices and optional room service. Excellent experience.

I go over to the west coast approximately every month to two and always stay at Lake Tarpon Resort. The rooms are clean, the staff very friendly and the food in the restaurant is excellent.It's always so relaxing to sit on the balcony and look at the water. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lake Tarpon Resort exceeded all my expectations from the start. Penny and Glenn treated me very well as did Dave one of the managers. I was given personal tours of the facilities when I got there, my room was large and comfortable--particularly the bed. The hot tub was not over clorinated like most places. I enjoyed the sports bar and all the two for […] one specials I received while staying there. This resort really cares about it's guests in all aspects. One of their stray cats had kittens while I was there and I spent lots of time watching them and playing with them. The manager, Dave, said he was rounding up the mama cat and getting her spayed on December 5th as well as two other cats roaming the property so they're socially responsible as well. I loved the grounds of this hotel. All rooms look out over the water and overall it was a very peaceful and relaxing stay and I play on staying there whenever I'm in the Tampa area. One more thing...the maid made the cutest towel art every day--just like on a cruise ship. I loved the giant swan she made. Very talented. The bartender on Tuesday nights made great mai tai's.
