"Close to port and St Heliers centre"
Lovely hotel and very close to the port and bus station(next door). The reception staff was very helpful and checkin/out was fast. It was nice to know that the hotel is a part of Jerseys history, the flag was raised here when Jersey was liberated from the Germans. The only reason I have given 4 star for comfort of room is due to the size of bed. We […] booked an executive room and expected the bed to be larger as the room size did allow it. The 4 star for the cleaniliness of the room is due to the fact that once during our 5 day stay we put the bathrobes into the tub to be changed as we found it had dirt stains on arrival, but on return to our rooms we found the same bnathrobes had been hung back on the door intead of changing what was put in the bath tub as was printed notice in the bathroom. ofcourse when we called reception we immediately received a new pair of bathrobes and towels. Otherwise the housekeeping staff was perfect , they cleaned the room and made sure everything that was used was replenished and cleaned. Would surely stay again if we are staying in St heliers and would definitely recommend it for anyone on short stays in Jersey as it is very convenient for the port and central bus station. We had an issue with our room initally in relation to noise from Conway St., we requested a move and had that dealt with promptly. We were very satisified eith the care of staff and management and would return to Pom D Or.

The hotel looks very grand and is in a superb location for St Hellier town centre. I would imagine parking to be a bit of a problem but as we didnt have a car it wasnt an issue for us. On entering the well decorated lobby we were greeted by lovely reception staff who were very knowledgeable- we booked this hotel without any prior information about it- […] we just liked the location and reviews appeared to be good. the reception and bar areas look very modern but with some traditional elements too.......turn the corner and things start to appear a little dated once in the corridor to the rooms, it was starting to lose its appeal. gone are the modern decor and replaced with 80s light fittings and drab wall and floor coverings. The room was pleasant if a little dated and the furniture reminded me of Holiday inn circa 1980's! The problems happened through the night, we were located at the back of the hotel on the 1st floor. there was no noise from the outside but whatever was upstairs woke me up soo many times through the night. Hotel excellent, good food, good service and friendly staff. Room had everything for a 4 star hotel, including kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits. Room quiet and very comfortable, staff very polite and courteous. Food excellent, the Head Waiter was very efficient but not very friendly or approachable. Hotel very convenient position, near bus station and town and a short walk to the beach. Pomme D'or is a great location. Walking distance to the bus station, harbour and all the shops and restaurants. Good inclusive breakfast and free internet access in reception. "LLOKING FORWARD TO STAYING AGAIN"
HOTEL WAS IN A PERFECT LOCATION AT THE HUB OF EVERYTHING IN ST. HELIER. THE STAFF WERE NICE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THERE WAS NO VIEW BUT THE ROOM HAD EVERYTHING EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ON THE SMALLER SIDE. Super hotel, got a good deal otherwise would have been rather expensive. Breakfast excellent. Hotel opposite the bus station and the harbour its a perfect location.
"Good Hotel - shame about the parking"
The hotel is well positioned for quick access to the town centre or the sea front. It is clean and well presented with competent and professional staff. Breakfasts are great with a good choice of food. There didn't seem to be much ventilation in the corridors (hot & stuffy) and full of cigarette smoke one night, despite all rooms supposed to be non-smoking. […] The air conditioning in individual rooms worked well. Our room at the back on the second floor, was a bit noisy from the 'plant' room below, but was otherwise spacious and comfortable. The free WiFi is a bonus. My only disappointment was the lack of parking at the hotel which meant you had to use the public carpark 400m away and put tickets on in advance the previous evening unless you wanted to get up before 8.00am to pay for the parking that day. There is a drop-off point outside the hotel which would be usefull if it wasn't full of cars owned by people who think it is provided solely for them as free parking. Overall the hotel is very good and I would recommend to anyone, especially those that haven't got a car as the hotel is very close to the main bus station. Další informace

Just returned from five day stay in the Pomme D'Or Hotel and we were not disappointed. We had a double room which was average size but very well appointed. Our room was at the rear of the Hotel so no view but it was quieter. Extra bonus of having iron and ironing board in the room. Bed was very comfortable but pillows were too soft. Staff at […] that Hotel are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Buffet breakfast is excellent with good variety of food. Also ate in the Cafe/Bar and the food was very good. "Ideal location for buses and town centre"
Nice friendly reception, quick check in, excellent breakfast, Sunday carvery a bit average. Room modern & very clean and comfortable. No noise from within hotel but some people were making a bit of noise in Liberation Square on the Saturday night, other nights OK. Forferdelig støy fra hotellets takvifter, er på fra 6 am til 11 pm Fredag og lørdag aften er gaten full av skrikende og fulle ungdommer, bråk til 3 am. Bare 9 TV-kanaler, hvorfor ingen franske? Insister på å få rom mot bakgården pga gatestøyen.
Ett utav de bästa hotell vi bott på. Personalen väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma med allt. Frukosten jättebra, och likaså skaldjursbuffén. Läget också perfekt. En jättelyckad semester på Jersey!

Convenient hotel with helpful and cheerful staff excellently situated a one minute walk from the bus station with a charming view over the marina. Hearty and delicious breakfast. The beds are very comfortable. Only a few minutes walk from major shopping area in St Helier.

Nous sommes partis pour les 25 ans de ma femme à Jersey pour un WE et avons été très satisfaits par cet hôtel. L'accueil et le service étaient au top. Le petit déjeuner inclus fut très copieux et le prix fort raisonnable. Nous y reviendront !

Il est possible que toutes les chambres ne soient pas de la même qualité mais l'accueil et le service sont les mêmes pour tous. Bien placé (en face du port, proche de l'arrivée des ferries) donc du bonheur.

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr vielseitig, für jeden Geschmack etwas mit dabei: Rührei, Antipasti, frische Früchte & Obst, Fisch, Käseplatte, French Toast, Würstchen..... Ein Highlight ist das Fischbuffet am Freitag abend. Die zentrale Lage - Busbahnhof, Hafen, Fährenterminal […] und Bars in unmittelbarer Nähe. Es gibt Unterschiede bezüglich der Qualität der Zimmer. Im Großen und Ganzen waren wir sehr zufrieden, auch wenn wir deutlich unter dem Durchschnittsalter lagen. Další informace
