We stayed one night at this hotel. Almost every thing was up to our expectations. It was close to everything.

Our family (parents+2 kids -2 years & 4months) spent 3 nights here. Staff were nice,we got good advice about dinner etc; kids were welcomed, area, location were just fine. What let this place down was the information about rooms. I reserved a 3 twin beds room. I called before my arrival asking if we can get a baby cradle in the room and got a bright […] yes. But arriving we found that since the rooms are small they prepared a 2 beds room with a cradle. So next morning we had to change the room. Even like that, the room that was called 3 twin beds room was actually a 2 twin and a smalled foldable extra bed. It was too much trouble to change and I guessed that a real 3 twin room does not exist. Overall, it was good but if the rooms explanations were cleared it would have been better. Další informace

We found this hotel going cheap and so decided to treat ourselves whilst Inter-railing. However, when we arrived at the hotel, we were given a looked-down-upon look by the reception staff before saying we had a reservation on which point they were more friendly. The location is great. The hotel itself could use an update not too look like its stuck in the 80's. At the same time, the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms is still very good as usual. A big improvement is the friendliness of the staff who were extremely kind and friendly this time (for the first time). We booked this hotel at the last minute and checked in two hours later. It was only about 1:00 p.m. but our room was ready for us. We had a beautiful view of the whole north of Genoa from oyr large windows on the 12th floor. We were able to walk to the Centro Storico in about thirty minutes, and area restaurants and bars were still closer. This was […] great, because driving in Italian cities, if one is not Italian, can be somewhat nerve-wracking. The hotel lived up to its 4-star rating, but I was ddisappointed that I could not access the internet from my room and only for 30 minutes from the lobby; I also thought 20 euros for parking was rather excessive. In my opinion the best hotel in town as it is easy to access it by car or train. And is overall a good stay.

This hotel has great potential. The location next to the Brignole station is good for intercity travel, the rooms are well-appointed and the retro 70s charm is appealing. The staff however, are rude and uninterested. No real greeting at check in, no offer of a cab at check out, no details about breakfast or mention of the fitness room. The hotel ludicrously […] shuts its swivel door entrance at night (we got in at 1am after a trip to Milan) and so you have to buzz in- or rather, wave at the CCTV until they let you in. This is a four star hotel - it should clearly have a 24 hour entrance. Breakfast is boring and of a poor quality - the food is average, and the coffee is truly grim. Either overbrewed stove top or a machine-made cappucino. This is Italy! The staff are surly and uninterested, the placesettings left with crumbs and there's no real point bothering anyway because the meat, cheese and bread are all substandard. I came to this hotel from the Best Western Metropoli, which was the polar opposite - smaller, older, but great breakfast and fantastic, cheerful staff. The cleaning staff here are great though - they said hello and do a really efficient job. Let down, then, by a lazy and bored set of grumpy characters behind the desk and a lack of convinction about anything they do. Breakfast is pretty important when it's fairly clear it's adding about a tenner a night to your bill. Stay in town for a much better ambience and avoid this place until they get their act together. The CEO mentions in the Starhotels newsletter that she regularly checks up on the hotels in the chain (they have some in New York) so I think a visit to Genova is overdue. Další informace

The male staff at Reception were, with one exception, extremely unhelpful, rude and supercilious, Staff in dining room and lobby bar were excellent.

Staff was outstanding and helpful in recommending local attractions and restaurants and providing directions. Would definitely stay again the next time we are in Genova.

We arrived into Genoa after dark but located the hotel pretty easily. Please note that the hotel is across the street from the secondary, lesser-used train station, Brignole. The hotel itself was spotless and comfortable. The room was a little small, but so are most European hotels. Breakfast was delicious and ample, served in their comfortable, bright […] restaurant. Genoa, as a whole, has a mixed reputation with some sketchy areas. Be aware of this ahead of time. If the city is definitely on your travel plans, and if you are okay with the location across town, I highly recommend this hotel. Další informace

Hotellet har mist lite av sin forna glans men håller än idag för en kortare vistelse. Lobbyn ser fräsch och lyxig ut men resten har nog lämnats åt sitt öde. Heltäckningsmattor på så väl golv som väggar vilket inte passar dammallergikern då det känns rätt så kvalmigt. Förutom det så var städningen mycket bra och det kändes fräscht! Stort plus till personalen […] som är trevliga och hjälpsamma. Frukosten var okej men med italienska mått mäter den mycket bra, alltså det fanns annat än bara sötsaker. Man kan blir mätt. Servicen på frukosten var utmärkt. Parkering finns för 20 e per natt. Måste dock varna för den ovane bilisten eller den med en hummer, det är väldigt smal infart och trångt. Vi fick betala 2 e per natt per person för turistskatt som infördes i april 2012. Gäller dock högst 8 dagar. Hotellet ligger en bit från turistområdena men det var inget negativt. finns gott om trevliga gator och restauranger runt omkring. Genua var en fantastiskt fin stad med mycket att se, trevligt folk och kändes väldigt "italienskt" i jämförelse med turistexploaterade Rom. siamo stati molto bene , buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Lo consiglierei. Negativo che non si possano aprire le finestre e quindi quasi obbligato l'uso di riscaldamento o aria condizionata quando sarebbe bastato "aria di fuori". Meditate sull'inquinamento e i consumi!

Albergo con un'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo - per lo meno in certi periodi dell'anno. Qualità delle camere e del servizio eccellente, buona la scelta per la colazione, un po' alti costi dei servizi non inclusi (parcheggio, minibar etc). Posizione centrale e comoda per chi viaggia in treno o macchina. Vista panoramica. Consigliatissimo.

Siamo stati in questo albergo due notti in occasione del capodanno 2011 e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti: buona location vicinissima al centro e alla stzazione di Brignole, ottimo servizio e pulizia, colazione abbondante e con ottimi orari di servizio (dalle 7 alle 11). Hotellet hadde god standard og service. Beliggenheten var sentral - nært til togstasjon, butikker og spisesteder.

Pareja turistas españoles: El hotel está bastante bien, habitaciones limpias, cómodas y solenciosas con un desayuno bastante completo. Es un hotel antiguo aunque su aspecto exterior es relativamente moderno. Alrededor del hotel hay muchas plazas de aparcamiento en zona azul, por lo que no es un problema, salvo que tienes que estar pendiente de los […] tickets de la hora. L'hôtel est d'une grande qualité et le rapport qualité-prix est excellent. Il est situé à quelques minutes de marche du centre-ville et non pas au coeur de celle-ci.

Bra billig hotell hvis man har et par dager i Genova. Du ser det når du går ut fra togstasjonen. 5 min å gå til handlegata, som tar deg til gamlebyen, som fører deg videre til havna. Frokoston var veldig bra. Godt utvalg.

Stayed for two nights. Service from staff was great and all spoke good english. We lived on ninth floor and had a good view of the city but no sea. I believe they would benefit from posting pictures on the view from different rooms/floors. Sebbene la zona vicino alla stazione non sia delle migliori e' a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro e in rapporto al prezzo e' un'ottima scelta. Le stanze hanno un arredamento un po' datato, ma sono pulite e il servizio e' ottimo. Anche il personale e' cordiale e preparato, ci hanno dato una camera all'ultimo piano con vista sulla citta' e ci hanno lasciato […] la stanza per due ore in piu' rispetto alla norma il giorno della partenza. Colazione buona e varia, unico disagio il parcheggio dell'hotel che era al completo e quello pubblico a pagamento era molto costoso. Další informace

Een groot, professioneel hotel met alles er op en er aan. Hotel is recent onderhouden. Alleen de airco was luidruchtig en weinig effectief. Hotel ligt prachtig midden in het centrum van Genova, op loopafstand van het winkelgebied.
