Hodnocení zadal host společnosti Hotels.com 28. 08. 2012Izby sú čisté, chladnička bola pozitívne prekvapenie, pretože sa o tom v čase objednávania nehovorilo. Automatická klimatizácia a denné upratovanie izby super. Bazén bol v čase návštevy takmer stále prázdny, takže deti boli stále v ňom. Do vírivky sme žiaľ nestihli zájsť. V hoteli je možnosť odosielať balíky alebo si vybaviť jednoduché biznis veci. Nevýhodou je nutnosť chodiť do hotela cez (občas zafajčené) kasíno. Jedlo v hotelových reštauráciách a občerstveniach bolo super. Súčasťou je aj kino s asi 12 sálami, takže sme využili :) Cena sa mi preto zdala primeraná a nakoľko som objednával dlhší pobyt, dostal som noc zadarmo... Čo viac si priať?

Poloha hotelu je výhodná pro návštěvu všech hlavních atrakcí na Stripu, výstavního areálu i nákupního outletového centra. Velmi příjemným zpestřením pobytu je neomezený přístup na věž. It is one of the cheapest hotels on the Strip, but quality of rooms is excellent (esp. relative to prices). Yet, notice that it is located on the very end of the Strip so you will have to go by bus to the center of the Strip (Luxor-Belagio-Venice). Actually, next time I would prefer to stay in Luxor, where prices are comparable, but it is much closer […] to the Strip. And don't be fooled with free access to the Stratosphere tower. You can buy All-Rides ticket which gives you access to the tower, so you will not spent any extra money while staying outside of Stratosphere. Hotel has one of the nicest buildings in town and maybe it is its outermost landmark. Locations is in between the major Strip hotels and the nice old Downtown (Fremont Street) but you will need to take a bus or drive to go to both. Nothing really to complain about. The rooms were cheap and comfortbable. The hotel is located at the far end of the strip in a bit of a rough area so you need to get a bus/taxi/monorail to the main sights. The observation tower gives stupendous views over Vegas at night and there is a rotating restaurant where you can dine and see the whole of Vegas […] below you in 90 mins it takes to go round. Originally we had a room at the northast side of the hotel on the 15th floor, and the air condition unit was very noisy and the window was very small ( like 40 inches wide). Kind of like this hotel... Far down one end of the Strip, a little bit away from the noisiest parts of Vegas. Had the misfortune of being checked in by a very stiff lady from the former Eastern block of Europe. A bit harsh, shall we say... After that it was all fine. Even though the hotel is quite far from the beginning of the strip (Mandalay Bay and Luxor hotels), there are two buses that you can catch right in front of the hotel that will take you there. "The Stratosphere - great hotel."
Loved the fact that the hotel was a little bit out from the main busy section. The more expensive hotels seemed to have loads of people waiting for lifts, waiting for restaurants etc. The meal in the rotating restaurant was absolutely gorgeous (not cheap but worth it)... The Frankie Moreno show, half price for hotel guests was superb... we paid 10 dollars […] extra for VIP seats, worth it, felt very special. Saw other more expensive shows, didn't rate as good as this. The bus Deuce is every 15 minutes right outside the hotel and is a 24 hour service. The booze in the hotel is expensive, especially wine, lovely wee liquor shop across the road... Roxys cafe in the hotel food great. Had a birthday there, and the waiters sang songs etc... Denny's across the road has free internet, internet in hotel is 11.99 PER ITEM...PER DAY... Denny's also has specials 2, 4, 6, 8 dollar menu... well worth. Fantastic holiday, and very pleased with the hotel. Don't miss Fremont Street for live bands Saturday is the best day. "Too far from everything!!"
We lived the hotel. Would be 4.5 stars in my book if it weren't so far away from everything. You have to either catch a cab or ride the bus down the strip to go almost anywhere. Gets expensive! Other than the distance, we loved the hotel. DO NOT eat at the buffet in the hotel. Food looks fancy but is DISGUSTING! Tastes like cardboard. We also ate at […] Roxys Diner which was delicious:) I would stay somewhere closer to the middle if the strip next time and save the money spent on bus and taxi.. Enjoyed the stay, rooms were clean and comfortable. Only thing we didn't like was we took the shuttle from the airport and then had to tote our luggage across the hotel, through the casino to get to the registration desk. "What a deal"
In Vegas for a trade show I wanted something close to the convention center. Got an amazing rate (even with the $15 add on from the hotel). The room was a standard motel style room, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Take advantage of the free visit to the observation deck for hotel guests.
