Lemon Garden Café - In this buffet-style restaurant, individual theater kitchens serve Malay, Indian, Chinese, Italian, and Continental dishes, with a tandoori oven, large seafood tank, wood-burning oven, and indoor herb garden. The adjacent coffee bar serves specialty coffees, freshly baked breads, croissants, and cakes. Open from early morning until late evening.
Shang Palace - A grand red door, a replica of Beijing's Forbidden City's Duan Gate, leads into this opulent Cantonese restaurant. An intricate wall carving of nine dragons, a gallery lined with timber columns, and numerous works of art continue the Imperial theme. Serving dim sum and classic Cantonese and Chinese dishes for lunch and dinner.
Zipangu - Styled like a Tokyo brasserie, this contemporary restaurant features a walk-in wine and sake cellar and a cigar lounge. A glass wall separates the main dining area from the kitchen, allowing diners to watch chefs in action. Three open-kitchen counters prepare sushi, grilled dishes, and kappou specialties. Open for lunch and dinner.
Restaurant Lafite - Dark-marble columns lead into a circular dining area with curved ivory and gold curtains, spherical lights, and shimmering glass beads hanging from the ceiling. The cuisine is contemporary French with Asian twists, and vegetarian options are available. Open for lunch and dinner (closed Sundays and public holidays).
Arthur's Bar & Grill - A perfect place for social gatherings, this Manhattan-style bar and grill serves a variety of beverages from refreshing beers to signature cocktails and an extensive list of wines served by the glass, complemented by a selection of international and local cuisine.
Lemon Garden 2Go - The design of this coffee area incorporates acid-treated copper, stainless steel, glass, and curved flooring with zebra ribs. A boat-shaped serving station offers drinks and snacks to eat on the premises or to take away. Open from early morning until mid-evening.
Poolside Terrace - Canopied by sun umbrellas and surrounded by landscaped gardens, this poolside bar serves beverages, snacks, and local fare. Open from mid-morning until early evening.
On-site facilities include a 20-meter (65-foot) outdoor lap pool, a separate children's pool, and a lighted tennis court (surcharge). The hotel's fitness center has free weights and a range of cardiovascular equipment with individual audio-visual systems. Guests can also use saunas and steam rooms, hot and cold plunge pools, and an aerobics studio (surcharge).

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel because we read that the dinner buffet in Lemon Garden was good. After having the buffet lunch, we decided to give the dinner a miss. The breakfast spread had a lot of variety but I wouldn't say that the food was really tasty. Just ordinary. Would prefer to venture out into the capital to try the local hawker fare. The […] pool was a little small. Overcrowded with kids. No chance of doing laps. The lush green environment was nice but bring along your insect repellent. Overall, I think the rooms are reasonable for the price. Perhaps I'll try out other 5 star hotels in the area next time if the prices don't differ much. Další informace

Excellent location in relation to the city. The service from staff was awesome after spending 3 weeks in Italy. Room was small but very comfortable. Finally a King Size bed. Huge and powerful shower. The hotel where everything is working. It was a sheer pleasure to stay there again. The serving of breakfast had amazing selctions but very crowded. Internet functioned very well in the room and the service thereof was impeccable. A pulsating nightlife is just around the corner.

We needed to have an extra one-night stay in KL and decided to book the Shangri-La as it seemed to offer luxury for the price that you often pay for an ordinary 3-4 star hotel night in the Europe. Only drawback is that the hotel is a bit far from especially the main shopping venues. It's also just on the other side of what looks like a "ring road" - 4-5 lanes going to both ways. The traffic light system in KL really isn't efficient at all and you'll be waiting for ages just to pass the road and head for the city. I am very happy with the staff, reception, environment and the cleanliness of the hotel from looby to the room. The environment is superb and make you feel fresh at all time. The location is strategic and easy to move around.

Not impressive from outside but very beautiful inside.Tastefully decorated, an air of luxury and comfort. Food was very good and reasonably priced.Excellent service from the staff. The only negative was the small room looking out to a multistoried parking garage. A hotel of this calibre should not have a room like this.

"A true 5 star hotel"
This is a truly fantastic hotel, there really is no reason to leave. Rooms are gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. There is a full size fitness center with steam room and hot tub. The service is phenomenal. The real highlight however is the breakfast buffet. If you get the opportunity to stay here, do so.

Hi, I had a 2 night stay with Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur in Oct 2011. It was noted that the breakfast on almost the same for the 2 mornings when i went there. Hotel should look into changing at least 30 or 40 percent of the items daily. It will benifit all guests especially long stay guests. We were overcharged for several items (car parking, food, etc) and the management refused to change the bill despite their mistake. The hotel is OK but we have stayed in much nicer 5 star in KL

I went to KL for 3 weeks Holidays. I stayed in Prince Hotel ,The Ascot Hotel, Shangri La Hotel and the Park Royal Hotel in Penang, all booked through Hotels.com and they were all excellent Hotels. and very central to all the main attractions.I haven't a bad word to say about them. We arrived late and left early after only one night, so I can't speak too much about the facilities. However, the room was wonderful. Very clean, comfortable, and modern. Great hotel but location is only an "OK" bc it is not really close to the main shopping areas. The rooms are very clean and apparently fully renovated in 2009, but the room looks rather dated.
