Hotel je na úrovni, sehnali jsme ho na tomto webu za úžasně nízkou cenu - nižší než většina pražských penzionů. Na recepci byla velmi milá a ochotná paní, vybavení pokojů je luxusní a velmi komfortní, všude je čisto, snídaně bohatá, čerstvá a chutná. Někdo může namítnout, že ze zadní strany hotelu je škaredé staveniště, ale to při pobytu vůbec nevnímáte a bohatě vám to vyváží poloha přímo vedle nákupního centra (se supermarketem) a zastávky metra. Do centra jsou to 4 stanice, tedy cca 10 minut! Parkovat se dá hned u hotelu na ulici. Sem se každopádně vrátíme.

Velice příjemný hotel s krásnou zimní zahradou. Bohatá snídaně, pravidelně doplňovaná. Pobývali jsme zde jen 1 noc, ale i tak bych tento hotel doporučil k delšímu pobytu. Hotel je celkem v klidné části Libně, v bezprostřední blízkosti metra. Vše bylo velmi dobře organizované. Myslím, že na 4* hotel i velmi přijatelná cena. V okolí hotelu není nic zajímavého.
Poloha
Hotel Hotel Ametyst se nachází ve městě Praha (Nové Město) a je ideální pro rodinné dovolené. V blízkosti jsou Náměstí Míru, Havlicek Gardens a Pasáž Lucerna. V blízkosti jsou také Nákupní centrum Palladium a Arkady Pankrac.
Charakter hotelu
Hotel ideální pro obchodní jednání nabízí tyto možnosti stravování: restaurace, kavárna a bar nebo společenská místnost. Pro hosty je podávána snídaně zdarma. Ve veřejných prostorách je zdarma k dispozici vysokorychlostní (pevné) připojení k internetu. Pro obchodní hosty je v tomto 4hvězdičkovém hotelu k dispozici: business centrum, malé zasedací místnosti a velká zasedací místnost. We spent three lovely days in Prague. We were really pleased with the Ametyst Hotel as it would appear to have been recently renovated. Our room was beautifully docorated with lots of space. "Nice hotel but it doesn't worth the money"
I chose this hotel because it had very good reviews but it wasn't a good option for my trip. I was taken four days of vacation in Prague after a business trip and I was alone. I asked for a single room and I got the smallest room I ever had in a hotel of that category. The bathroom didn't have a bathtube, the shower was very small and not convenient […] at all. This is a very nice boutique type hotel within 7 minute walk to the subway station. They offer a lovely Czech breakfast with great bread and fresh fruit. service was pleasant and accommodating in every way, would highly recommend it!
Beautiful hotel, very friendly and welcoming. Great location , walking distance to most tourist areas or metro is only 3mins away. Staff excellent ,friendly and professional . Great breakfast. Recommend highly and hope to return to Prague and this hotel in the future.

About 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop and about 10 minutes to the metro. Not much to see or do around the Hotel.

The hotel is fine. If you're a business traveler it is not the best for that. Location is a nice 20 min walk to the centre of old Prague. It is a pleasent walk. The neighborhood is fine and has a couple of local bars that are cool. The room I had was very small and no real place to set up your luggage if you are living out of your bag. I read a number of other reviews before choosing this hotel. A lot complained about the location and a lot complained about poor choice for breakfast. I would not agree with either of these - the hotel is 10 mins walk from the metro or 5 mins walk from the tram. You can also walk to the main attractions in about 40 minutes. There is a large choice for […] breakfast and it certainly kept us happy. The hotel itself is located in a quiet area of the city - perfect for families like us. You also benefit from having a large number of non tourist bars and restaurants locally - no inflated tourist prices to worry about. "Good value hotel"
Hotel set in a quiet area of Prague approx seven minutes stroll from the nearest tram and metro but also within walking distance of the old town. Helpful staff, good breakfast, good room, comfortable beds. Local bars good value for food and drink. We would be happy to stay at this hotel again.

We stayed a week at the Ametyst and our expectations were exceeded. The hotel is located in a quiet tree-lined road. Schön eingerichtetes, ruhig gelegenes Hotel, nur 10 Gehminuten vom Wenzelsplatz entfernt. Matratzen für unseren Geschmack etwas hart.. Freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal. Lediglich am 1. Morgen, als so ziemlich alle Gäste gleichzeitig frühstücken wollten kam Chaos auf, da nicht jeder Gast einen Platz fand.

Hotellet var helt okej. Men knappast fyrstjärnigt och sängarna var riktigt stenhårda så hårda att man hade verkligen ont när man åkte hem, för övrigt så var personalen riktigt trevlig riktigt bra room service och restaurangen serverade god mat!

"Sehr nettes Personal. Vorsicht vor Wechselstuben!"
Hotel liegt zwar nicht im Zentrum, dieses ist aber schnell über ÖV erreichbar, entweder per Tram oder Metro. Das Personal war stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, jedoch war die Bettwäsche sehr staubig, was mir als Milbenallergiker gar nicht gut tat. Der Sportraum war ein Witz - ein 1.5mx1.5m Gang mit einem kurzen Laufband […] und zwei Hanteln - jedoch war die Sauna mit allem Komfort ausgestattet (muss extra bezahlt werden, ca 15 Euro p.P.) ACHTUNG BEIM GELDWECHSELN! An der Rezeption wurde 7% Kommision verlangt, also dachten wir das Geld in der Stadt in einer dieser 0% Kommission Wechselstuben wechseln zu lassen. Im Hotel war der Kurs für 1 Euro ca. 21.4 Kronen und wir sahen dann an einer Wechselstube den Kurs 24.9 Kronen angeschrieben und dachten, perfekt! Aber dieser galt nur für den Wechsel eines Betrages von über 2500 Euro (!!) und schlussendlich war der entgültige Kurs 17.7 Kronen. Und man liess uns das Geld auch nicht wieder umtauschen, als wir uns beschwerten! Also lasst Euch nicht übers Ohr hauen und fragt zunächst nach, wieviele Kronen ihr für Euren Euro / CHF Betrag entgültig bekommt und zu welchem Kurs das gerechnet wird. Ach ja, nehmt unbedingt gutes Schuhwerk mit, falls ihr Prag erkunden wollt. Wir waren am ersten Tag bestimmt 30km unterwegs. Zum Nachtleben: Im Zentrum gibt es gute Bars (z.B. nebe bar) / Clubs, jedoch trefft ihr dort hauptsächlich Touristen. Wollt ihr Einheimische kennenlernen, so findet ihr die ausserhalb des Zentrums, entweder östlich etwas ausserhalb vom Zentrum oder westlich an der anderen Uferseite in den Gängen der Stadt. Wir waren über Ostern 3 Tage und die Stadt war am Samstag fast leer - ausser das Zentrum mit den Verkäufern und Touristen. L accueil et la propreté de l hôtel sont bons. J' aurai souhaité une chambre plus grande (3 personnes) mais surtout des WC séparés et non dans la salle de bains. Un peu éloigné du centre touristique mais très bien desservi et nous aimions la marche.
Alt var utmerket, men sengene var altfor harde. Bortsett fra sengene var alt helt tipp-topp :)

Fint hotell som ligger litt i utkanten av bykjernen i Praha.Selve hotellet var i bra stand, forholdsvis nyoppusset og rent. Men, sengene var utrolig harde, det var som å sove på golvet, og vi opplevde betjeningen som lite hjelpsomme til tider.
"Out of the Touristic area"
It is better to stay in the touristic area (although it is also good to feel how it is out of that area). You need to get the subway to reach the hotel area, and than walk about 6 blocks (tiring!). Besides the location, two things bothered: first is the fact that there was no blackout in the windows, so at 8 AM you are awaken by our frind sun! "Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig und doch sehr zentral."
Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gasse, nicht allzuweit vom Zentrum, ist sehr gepflegt, freundliches Personal. und reichliches und gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Das Restaurant kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich woanders essen war. Bra mat, frukost, service, vänlig och hjälpsam personal, även om rummet var litet så var det tillräckligt. Ovant med separat toalettrum, brevid dusch/badkar och handfat. Sängarna var tyvärr tok för hårda.

"excellent hôtel but"
If you're not bothered by a 5/10 min. walk from the nearest metro station, you enter a hotel that is really fine with nice staff, nice rooms, good breakfast, clean and warm. Still, the restaurant is THE GREAT WEAKNESS of this hôtel. Only one dinner there (thank god!) and it was the (far) most expensive and the only disgusting meal of the journey.

Spenderade 3 nätter tillsammans med en väninnan på Ametyst. Fick fantastisk service av personalen och hade ett mycket trevligt rum. Hotellet överträffade våra förväntningar. Perfekt avstånd till city. Ca 5 min till metron från hotellet och därifrån ca 5 min till stadskärnan.
