Great hotel, right next door to The Meurice, and steps away from Place Vendome, the Tuileries, and Rue de Rivoli. Didn't care for the bus loads of Chinese tourists waiting around in the street for the Chinese tourist restaurant next to the hotel, but that was just an hour a day at dinner time. In spite of a great location, the overall experience was a bit disappointing considering the hotel's five star rating. Rooms were relatively small and dark with low ceilings and rather ineffective heating. There was room for only one lounge chair and the built-in desk area was crowded and somewhat high for working purposes. Considering the price of rooms in Paris during peak season, Renaissance Paris Vendome was a reasonable deal. I took my family to this hotel for a short visit. The whole experience was close to perfect - excellent location, friendly and efficient service, good breakfast buffet, fantastic pool. The hotel is fantastic. Well located, very pleasant and helpful staff. The room was nice but as expected not too spacious. Yet everything is first class, all the bathroom toiletries are BULGARY! Location can't be better. I would stay there again, if I had the money to spend.

Good location. Had 2 rooms for family vacation. Convinient to many sights. All was good except a bit expensive and rooms were small. Breakfast was good. High charge (15 or 20 euro per day) for internet but we were facing irish pub and were able to pick up their wifi for free.

The hotel room and facilities were smaller in comparison with the North American standard; however, you don't need a big room if you will stay outside of hotel more than a half day every day. Paris is a beautiful city which demands a fair amount walking tour. In our experience, we spent approximately 12 hours every day outdoor; so honestly, the room size did not matter because we had so much fun! We would be happier if there was more drawer for us to leave our things, though. I can not keep thinking about how happy we were during the trip, and that makes me to consider revisit Paris within two years. The hotel was comfortable, luxurious and peaceful. It was in an expensive area, but near enough to the Metro to be able to go elsewhere when we wanted something cheaper, so easy to avoid some of the hotel's more expensive services.

Una sola pecca! il secondo giorno di soggiorno alle 14.30 la suite non era stata ancora rimessa in ordine e soprattutto al front desk non ne erano neanche al corrente. La sera quando la suite è stata messa in ordine si sono dimenticati di ricaricare il frigo.

ミニバーの補充が無い、ルームサービスメニューが少ない、シャワー室の扉が半分しか空かない構造になっている、３人が宿泊しているにコップが2つしかない（毎日）、などが良くない点です。良い点は、ルーブル美術館に近いこと、地下鉄の駅に近いこと、アンジェリーナに近いこと、基本的に従業員がやる気満々で対応もそこそこ良いところです。 フランス政府の基準での五つ星ですので、それを鵜呑みにすると、ちょっとがっかりします。普通の感覚では、良くても四つ星、おそらく三つ星という感じです。

ホテルの場所は文句なし。バンドームにも歩いてすぐですし、ちょっと頑張ればラファイエットやプランタンまでも歩いて行けます。 ホテルもきれいでフロントの人も皆親切でした。 ただ、シャンプーとリンスがありませんでした。お願いしたら持ってきてくれましたが、 2度目にお願いした際は、持ってきてくれませんでした。忘れてたのか、予備がなかったのか。もちろん歯ブラシもありませんでした。 これは、ヨーロッパでは普通のことなのでしょうかねぇ。
